well i'm talking UT vince young. where he lost 2 games, had a crapload of big comebacks and huge plays, not just one year.

and gasol goes straight up and duncan gets 2 free throws. imagine that one.

kobe has certainly been impressive trying to close this game out.

don't leave freakin' brent barry or ginobili open for 3. that is all. make them beat you with 2's and if they can stop you 3 times and hit 4 2's, tip your hat. and don't collapse like game 4.

Better yet- unless Kobe Bryant's on your team and he doesn't have complete scrub players, you have to worry.

Kobe is an assassin. Once he smells blood he goes for it. Without going into talent comparison, this is one aspect of the game that Tracy Mcgrady could never master.

Yes, but that's much, much easier to do in college football. Look at Matt Leinart.

that fadeaway with duncan's hand in his face was amazing.

its shots like those, in important games in the clutch that separate him from the rest of the league.

The Spurs are done. If their flat-footed, slow-reacting defense on Kobe the last 3 times down the floor doesn't prove it, nothing will. The Lakers must avoid dumb fouls & TOs and the Spurs are finished.

I think they would drill the Celts and beat the Pistons in 6.

Even if Detroit and Boston combined to form one team, they would still be crushed. Kobe is too good right now.

Too bad, the lakers will be even better next year (or for quite a few more years to come) with Bynum back. I wish Yao was healthy this year because we have a good chance to beat them (even Bynum is healthy).

Dare I say dynasty when describing the Lakers. Beating the world champion Spurs in 5 and dominating everybody else in the playoffs. They are big and good without Bynum, they will be bigger and better with Bynum next year. Just don't see how the Rox or anybody else is going to beat them.

The question is, can we take out either the Celtics or the Lakers with our current squad??

Personallly I don't think we can unless we get more height in our front line at Small Forward and like Adleman said, another big shooting guard or someone who can back up T-Mac and give us more firepower. Having another crazy good ball handler would be good too who can pass on a dime.
