the spurs are gonna hit a 3 to win this aren't they? i'm gonna have to go kill myself aren't i? gasol misses 2 ft's, kobe gets flustered and shoots when looking to pass and run clock and now manu hits a 3 and parker gets a layup on a bad goaltending call and now the spurs can steal it. what a cheap goaltending. good block and it might help the spurs win.
they are going to hit a 3 to win this. this was a gift-wrapped 3-1 lead for the lakers and i was already about to say the lakers have been very impressive in the playoffs so far. stupid me getting ahead of myself. like i said, not until 0:00 do i count SA out and manu is about to ****ing kill me with a dagger 3. or horry - and that might hurt more. either way, it's going to hurt. you just can't kill these bastards. kobe running up the court instead of just calmly waiting for a foul or dribbling around is the play of the game at this point (along with that goaltending). this sucks.
could kobe have just thrown the ball straight up in the air there? or up in the air and tried to angle it to hit the rim?
Lakers got lucky at the end. It's gonna be hard for the Spurs in game 5. The better team won tonight and will advance to the Finals. The Spurs gave the home folks a good game in their finale for this season.
the lakers get their first call of the game on an obvious foul and win it. up 3-1. but then, we've all seen that play a thousand times and that gets called maybe 1 out of 1000. karma.
barry should have passed it to Horry. its the oldest play in the book where the inbounder gets the last shot.
Barry rushed his shot too much, he had another half second to gather himself and get a better look at the rim. Oh well, here comes the Celtics-Lakers finals with 600,000 of video montages from the 80's.
Barry would have got the call if he pump faked and then shot the ball and threw his body into Fisher who was in the air. But... Barry waited for Fisher to land, crouched down, then dribbled, then threw up the shot. What the hell was that? Refs will let go minimal contact unless it affects the shot, but Barry didn't use his advantage to draw the foul. How freakin stupid was that? Edit: It could have easily been called a non-shooting foul, because that's what it was. But Barry totally avoided the contact instead of embracing it. He pulled a Dirk Nowitzki.
Once again, it is Derek Fisher who has decided Spurs fate in the playoffs. Spurs fan sure must hate him.
