that's the trademark of a spurs crushing win. the other team blowing just as many chances as the spurs create for themselves. just makes it that much more painful.

complete bull**** call, another one in a long line in the spurs favor in this game. obvious charge on duncan who just turned and lowered the shoulder into odom. now odom has 5.

edit: are they sure odom didn't push off with his shooting arm there? come on refs, get creative.

I understand why you are so frustrated being a Lakers fan, but I don't know if the Spurs can pull this out. They are dead players walking.

Spurs blew every chance they got to get the lead by going for stupid 3's. The Lakers play much more comfortably with a lead, it's no surprise that they are able to hold the hapless Spurs at bay.

i say the lakers have a lot better shot at winning now (but i never count the spurs out until the clock says 0:00). i was actually typing on that last steal so i didn't see what happened. spurs don't usually do stupid things like that.

Oberto is such a liability for the Spurs. Pops sure must be wishing he had Scola right now.

Sorry Pops, and thank you. ;)

they certainly didn't eke out game 1.
i agree. uncharacteristically, Spurs have too many turnovers---sign of fatigue.

the lead is back to 9 with a little over 3 min to go; it doesn't look good for the Spurs

it really does seem like they took a 3 every time it was tied or they were within 1 or 2. lets hope they don't hit any 3's now and don't get back in this.

My point exactly. They didn't have the closing run today. Pop tightened up the rotation (by necessity) and they have nothing left to close the game.

did they really just leave barry open for another 3? when up 9? play straight up D for a few minutes and see if it works. 5 2's is harder than 3 3's.

Who here still thinks Derek Fisher is overrated? ;)

Fisher has been huge for Lakers this playoffs....as he always has been.

Lakers are begging the Spurs to take the game. I mean they are handing it to them on a silver plater but the Spurs refuse.

    Battle of chokers.
