KD's instinct and athleticism if very questionable to me right now. Other 6'11 guys could probably react and try to block Duncan right there.

He's trying adjustments every two minutes during games, lovely to follow Brooks.

What does he have to work with? KD and Westbrook are contained by the Spurs. The other 3 starters put up no offense. The bench barely puts up any offense.

If Brooks wants to try new players (PJ3, Lamb), that's fine. But they're raw and playing against the best team in the league / a complete machine of a team.

i don't think brook has any other choice at this point.

thabo has been absolute trash and given them nothing (not even defensively). at least lamb might score more than 0 points :p

Without Ibaka, OKC is toast. Yes, he does make a huge difference. Is he all the difference? Probably not, the OKC bench is sucking, and I have no idea why Scottie is having Derek "catfish face" Fisher running around out there. In my view his lack of size and speed alone is a huge liability. Parker runs past him like he is a statue. And if he by chance makes a shot, he starts throwing up bricks. His ship has long since sailed. Pop is schooling Brooks, which is no big surprise. OKC is not winning this series; forget about it.

Looking how Splitter moves particularly rebounding and scoring. He can cut in and do a high bounce of the backboard layup right around his defender who is less than 1 foot apart just like that. I've never seen D Howard much less Asik score that way once. It's not a knock on Dwight but it's just indicates holes in his game that so called "lesser" big men can execute without any problems.

You must admit, it's hard to suddenly install a legit offensive system in just two days.

Not saying his has one to install.

It's not really a hole, per se. It's just the way Dwight Howard and Asik play offense. Howard wants to post up all the time, unless someone calls for the PnR play.

I don't think I've seen Splitter call for the ball and proceed to try and back down his defender to get a shot.

    dat Spurs offense doe.

The way Tiago plays is what I envisioned for DMo. Too bad thats no longer plausible...

Splitter is a stud in build compared to Dmo. When Dmo does his weak soft layups or tries to tip the ball to a teammate you can tell that his core is too weak. Dude slouches more often than not and needs a trainer to get his posture and core right so when he executes his moves it should be a much stronger and successful move to score, block or rebound.

IIRC the Spurs gave up Scola for a song because they had faith that Splitter was the better fit for their team. Man, is that paying dividends now.

    Smart Spurs are smart. :)

Even if off by a few games.

Hopefully they don't rush it. From the original report, there is a HIGH risk of re-injuring it.

but if he's fine to play, he should play.
