Warriors in 5. Thunder doesn't have the consistent offense to keep up with the Warriors scoring.

Also don't think they can limit their own turnovers and prevent easy buckets to close games.

Would love to be wrong, as I'm tired of GS. Will probably need Roberson/Waiters to play out of his mind to have a chance.

I'm going to laugh my ass off if Durant gets it to 7 or wins. The whole "he has no chance to win in OKC movement but does in Houston" is going to be on head in the sand status.

OKC could get swept and lose by 20 a game and it would still make far more sense to return than to come to Houston. The Rockets had a shot at Durant, I think, but this season that they just put themselves through shut that down quickly.

You're absolutely right, but I'm talking about people that don't believe in rational thinking (ironically they are pure stats---paging aeliottt).

West finals has not gone 7 since 2002 lakers/kings.

And I don't think it will this year either. Warriors in a competive 6 game series.

Win win for everyone involved. Okc wins you have Durant vs Lebron. Gsw wins, you have the rematch.

It'll be interesting to see if the Warriors go primarily with the small ball lineup (lineup of death, nuclear lineup, whatever) they used against Cleveland's big lineup last year in the Finals. That Warriors lineup basically made Mozgov unplayable; they might make it tough for the Thunder to play both Adams and Kanter, the combo that wrecked San Antonio.

I'll be honest, if it comes down to a 2-3 game stretch where someone has to takeover then I'd rather go with Westbrook in maniac mode over everyone else on the floor in this series.

Really? IMO, Curry has just much "take over" potential as Westbrook, but without the "throw a winnable game away" potential.

Updatted odds... early money coming in on GSW. That first O/U must've been a typo.

All you OKC backers in this thread should get your money in! Vegas trying to give away their money at 4:1 odds! ;)

You think he'd be OK with backing up Superstar Parsons?

Agreed. You have one of the best players of all time standing next to KD, WB and Curry.

Kwame - thoughts? Is Vegas taking a side here? Seems like they'd be unnecessarily exposing themselves to a lot of risk at 4:1.

It sure seems like it. GSW going from -420 to -500 and OKC series prices going from +350 to +400 in less than 12 hours after the initial line opening is a significant move to me, especially since the game was three days away. My money is on the Warriors to repeat as champs, but I have this series going six games. However, shortest odds have Warriors winning in five.

For Game 1, line apparently opened at 7 at some places before it moved to 7.5 and Warriors money then pushed it to 8 at a couple of places before there was buyback on the Thunder. Now its settled at 7.5 at most places with a couple of 8s and maybe one 7 still left out there. That's where I expect the line to stay until the day of the game. I ended up taking OKC +8 in Game 1 as a partial hedge and partial value play. I had the line capped at 6.5, but I may have over-adjusted based on OKC's recent form.
