If you can rewind back to 9:46 in the 4th quarter. Is an obvious traveling by Kobe in front of the referee!

I saw it too, and I am a lakers fan. Very close but I thought he stepped in first.

Kobe did his best McGrady imitation and mostly settled against the defense. He probably kicked himself all night. Should be 3-0 Lakers. Jazz showed some guts but no way Lakers should have lost that game.

I think the Lakers are going to pummel them in game 4.

Yes. His name in Ronnie Brewer. Kobe did settle for too many outside jumpers but Brewer is an underrated defender and he has a good offensive game and great athleticism to boot. On the defensive end he's just as good if not better than players such as Artest, Battier, Posey etc. He's owned Artest a couple times this season and gave Tmac fits last year.

Brewer, Thad Young, Nicolas Batum etc are the next generation of great 1 on 1 perimeter and help defenders. Tall, Lanky, Athletic, with offensive games. We need to find one of these in the draft.

I've said a few times that Brewer is the difference. Not only did he practically shut Ron down when the Rockets faced the Jazz but he scored a lot of buckets as well. That kid is PF strong and SG quick.

And I agree with you about the Rockets needing a player like that. Shane and Ron are great but with the size and quickness of today's offensive players you have to have a 6'7"+ guy with freaky athleticism and length.

This is where the Lakers' chemistry gets tested. Kobe can get disgusted at his teammates when he's the only one performing, especially in the playoffs. I hope the Jazz keep the pressure on the entire game so we can see how fragile the Lakers are. This game isn't starting the way I expected, which was for the Lakers to kick the Jazz hard.

I still expect the Lakers to win tonight.

    Kobe 6/7 13 pts

its like he has a crap shooting night, he practices 10-12 hrs and comes back to kill you, his mid-range game isn't something he was born with this guy just works his ass off.

Brevin Knight is a disaster. I doubt he's in the league next season.

lol. LA hits three straight threes in like a minute. Jazz 7 point lead completely gone, crowd deflated. nice.

when is boozer going to be called for hooking? you can't just use your elbow on every spin move. and then gets bailed out with a foul by just jumping into people.

if the lakers had actually played like they cared after being up 64-51 in game 3, or kobe had any sort of jumper, or if kobe had taken about 10 fewer jumpers and passed it to someone, they might be cruising to a 4 or 5 game series. now they're in danger of going home tied 2-2 (although now they're up 7) and having a real series on their hand. that's why you don't give away playoff games.

Relax. It's likely to be 3-1 after tonight.
