Glad we're not playing the Jazz and it's going to be sweet to see their a$$es sent home in the 1st round. Who do you guys think will win the series? GO HOME j*zz!
I'm hoping for a Jazz upset (and then a Jazz loss next round), but I'm not holding my breath, pretty sure it will be a sweep or maybe 4-1, Jazz are just overmatched.
It would be soooooo sweet to see the Jazz swept. I can just see in the incest filled crowd in Utah crying to their mommies....errr aunties..errrr But I hate the Fakers almost as much. I rather have them lose to the Jazz because I know those b*stard floppers can't make it all the way. Lakers in 5. They'll win the first two at home, win one on the road in Utah and then close it out in game 5 at home. Most games won't even be close I think.
The Jazzholes can stop Kobe, but can't stop Gasol-Bynum inside ... so, bye bye Jazzholes! See you next year!
It'll take at least 6 games for them to be all banged up. They'll have time to heal if its 5 games or sweep.
Jerry Sloan doesn't like his team's chances against LA http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-heisler-lakers15-2009apr15,0,2936556.column
The j*zz will be physical; I don't wish for injury on 99.99% of the players, but I do wish injury on Booger, Memeep, and Harp. Hopefully, they can bang the Lakers up so that Blazers can finish the Fakers in the second round.
For the Rocket's sake, I'm pulling for the Jazz. Even given the match up problems the Jazz pose, I'd take a series with this Jazz and homecourt advantage over the Lakers and no hc any day of the week.
this is true realistically though I do not see the lakers losing this series at all hell i dont see it going past 5 games. it is going to be very nice though to not see the jazz in the first round again this year though.
While I would love the Jazz to knock off the Lakers, I doubt it will happen. The Lakers manhandled the Jazz last night once Kobe went into scoring mode; he'll be in that mode throughout the playoffs. I see the Jazz winning two games at home, but they'll lose one, too, losing the seriers in 6 games.
The only question is whether our hatred for the Jazz overrides more practical considerations. As much as I would love to see the Jazz swept and humiliated, you have to root for them in this series to put as much of a dent into the Lakers as possible in extending it to 6 - just anything to give the Blazers a punchers chance in round 2 to do the unthinkable.
Absolutely. I hope this series turns into a 7 game slugfest where the winner is barely standing at the end. But more likely, the Lakers in 4 or 5. I'll predict 5 with the Jazz taking game 3.
