It's sad. That Barrea dude is better than Brooks.

b/c he's a better playmaker. brooks only looks to score. if he doesn't score, he's useless. but i hate barea though. i wish someone punch him in the face.

Spurs dont have enough offense to win the series. Pops has to manage Duncan and Parker's minutes just to keep the game close. By 4th quarter they will be too tired to carry the load.

Of course, Duncan not dominating his position and commanding constant double teams does not make things any easier for Spurs. Duncan misses Manu.

Pop has to get Bonner out of the game. I don't know what he's thinking

Mavs are smart. They are taking all the momentum they had and just transferring it to the playoffs. I wouldn't be surprised if they made it to the WCF.

The spurs should focus on the defense, and play G. Hill more.

Bonner and Udoka were 2 bad signings for the Spurs. They never really fit for the Spurs.

Spurs shooting a SCORCHING 90% from downtown, but down 10 or so with 2 minutes.

Bonner was Fool's Gold. I knew he would flame out in the playoffs. The Spurs were lucky to squeeze what they got from him during the season. I don't know how much they paid Udoka but he's OK as a 9th man. But when people like him, Bonner and Old Michael Finley are in your rotation, things aren't good.

Pop shouldn't play Mason and Finley so many minutes. Although they can make a couple of 3s, their defense is really bad.

If the spurs can win a game in this series, it will be because their defense!

Who do you suggest he plays then?

Spurs? Tony Parker and an aging Duncan surrounded by very average players. No Manu. Everyone on the team executes very well though and are well coached.

Mavs? Up and coming bench players, Bass and Barea. Also Kidd is starting to gel really well with the rest of the starting lineup. People tend to forget this team has Finals experience and still have the core of Dirk, Terry, and Howard. They're not that bad at execution either.

    Mavs in 6

I disagree. Bonner and Gooden are bigger problems than Finley and Mason. Gooden, at least, has the ability to make a significant positive impact but that is unlikely (his history speaks for itself).

I dont know if Pop has asked Gooden to stay aggressive, but Gooden seldom passes up a shot.

So, you think the spurs lost this game because of the points in the paint?!

No. The Spurs lost because they don't have enough talent to beat a good team like Dallas in a 7-game series. Dallas has better players and has been on a roll. The Spurs will win only when the Mavs play below their capabilities. That didn't happen tonight.

Specifically, the Spurs chemistry on both ends of the court is off and they don't have enough scoring. That's a fatal combination.

So, the only chance that the spurs can win a game in this series is to play great defense.
