[Western Conf. 1st Round] Hated Spurs vs. My Little Pony Mavs

I really want to believe Spurs in 7, but I will say Mavs in 6.

 

I'm not rooting for it, but I think the Mavs are gonna steal a series here versus the Spurs. The Spurs look OLD, yes they ALWAYS bring it at playoff time, but this matchup could really bother them.

Hate the Mavs WAY more than Spurs, so I'll be cheering on Spurs, but I don't think it would be any shocker to see Mavs steal this series.

 

Mavs aint won a playoff road game since 2006... .FYI

 

I vote for the pit of hell to open up on the floor during the game and for both teams to slide into Hades.

 

I am going to cheer for the Spurs.

Just look at the smile J-Kidd had after he shuffled Ron's back to get into Ron's head. That's a jerk's smile.

 

I like this option, same can happen in the fakers jizzz series......

Honestly, though there is no way in hell I'd ever go for the mavs. Spurs will get bounced in the 2nd round if they make it through, so it's win win.

 

This is the only series I'm not looking forward to watch.

 

I think the Mavs will win this series. They are just deeper in the bench. Except for the starting 5, there's nobody can score for the Spurs on the bench. But I always root for the Spurs when they play against the Mavs.

 

The Mavs are really making it hard on themselves with that 1st quarter. I still think they will win the game.

 

Dirk with a very dumb 3rd foul. The Spurs have a grand opportunity to build a huge halftime lead.

so does it just seem like every single call is for the spurs? dirk has been getting the yao treatment so far this game.

but damn has dallas given up a ton of easy layups. i haven't seen a lot of them this year, but is there D always this bad? i know quick PG's kill them, but come on, this is ridiculous.

i don't see how SA loses this series.

I think the Spurs will lose this series unless TP goes nuclear. Otherwise, they don't have enough offense to beat a good team 4 out of 7. So far this game, it's ridiculous how easy TP is getting in the lane. I don't think it will continue. The Spurs not being able to extend with Dirk on the bench speaks volumes.

I'm going to make a snap judgment after that first half and may end up eating my words: The Spurs will be lucky to last 6 games. The Mavs are clearly the better team and only fluke events or injuries will prevent them from advancing. The Spurs just don't have enough "horsepower".

 

i don't know, they could lose i guess, but right now the spurs have waltzed in to the basket a number of times and the mavs are having almost no luck getting to the basket and are relying on brandon bass playing really really well to be in this game. granted the mavs aren't hitting a lot of jumpers and dirk has been in foul trouble, but one team getting to the basket a lot and the other team hardly getting there doesn't seem like a good recipe for winning a series. plus, if you just have to choose a team to make the plays at the end of a game and at least make the second round, i'm taking the spurs. but i hope the spurs lose. would show how much duncan has needed ginobili.
