92-93 Supersonics come very close to their first NBA Finals appearance, but lose in Game 7.

93-94 Supersonics becoming the 1st team to lost to an 8th seed.

99-00 Bucks lose in 5 to Pacers (they lost the game by a 1 point)

    00-01 Bucks, Game 7 meltdown

01-02 Bucks, late season meltdown (3-7 in April) pushes them out of the playoffs by one game to the Pacers.

The Nuggets have been one and done every year with Karl as Coach. 5 consecutive seasons.

Believe it or not, Peja will light them up. Nuggets just don't have a good defender to put on Peja or Posey and they will regret that. Paul and West/Chandler will pick and roll the Nuggets to death.

    Hornets in 6.

    Billups isn't.

He's the key to their success, in my opinion. They have plenty of talent but a lot of knuckleheads. It isn't even a matter of statistics with Billups. His main job is to keep everybody focused with his leadership and experience. If he is able to do that, the Nuggets should win this series easily.

    Melo never missed playoffs. Impressive!

I think if he was in the EC, he would have passed the 1st round like James and Wade.

Charles Barkley is a joke!! Almost every time he touched lost. He said Blazers would win; he said Orlando Magic would win; he said Miami Heat would win; and all of these teams lost, not to mention his daring j*zz. He hates Houston Rockets so much..... oh well

Paul needs to just play 48 minutes. He's young, he can do it.

That's an interesting thought and may be their only chance to win this series. I think even he would start to wear down though if it went 6 or 7 games.

They just hope the team can keep games close while Daniels is in. He's a pretty solid backup and the Hornets were the 2nd best team in the league in games decided by 3 points or less, right behind the Blazers.

Paul is so in command, he can control the offense even if he's operating at half-speed. I think he just needs to be on the floor as much as possible.

Peja is making the shots, and that's a good news to the hornets!

The Nuggets are soooooo lucky they got the Hornets in the opening round. Melo is 0/5 and they are still up 3 points.

This PG matchup is interesting. Paul and Billups are two of the best PGs in the league at using their bodies to draw fouls.

Man, someone needs to destroy Kenyon Martin. I am so sick of his act. I hope someone breaks his bones or something, maybe a David West bone shattering punch. At this point, the birdman can probably contribute more to the Nuggets than that overrated "tough" guy.

How did Barkley respond to the Rockets blowout?
