Pretty sure that's residual listings from pre-postponement. ESPN and NBA.com post entire series schedules well in advance. For instance, the nba.com listing specifically calls the Rox/OKC game on Sunday "Game 7 TBD", so you know that listing was not updated. Every beat writer out there is saying no one knows what days each team plays, yet, other than saying someone plays Saturday. Everyone is guessing that the teams who boycotted first will resume first, such that everything just gets pushed back, but not juggled into a new order. I'm sure twitter journalists won't forget to post actual schedules, when they know. make sense
Gotta question for you, realistically how much do you think Westbrook improves us against OKC? While I know he's going to be a great drive and kick threat, they could also sag off him and form a wall while Dort is on Harden. Also maybe our spacing and defense get worse.
They can certainly try and sag off him, but his explosiveness and ability to finish at the rim will still give them problems. He will also push the pace, and lead the 2nd unit so we don't have to rely on Garbage Juice Gordon for all those drives Russ will give us instead.
Nice, but tell MDA to take it easy please hopefully we control the game early and WB only plays 24-28min. fist game back
Westbrook is going to playing like a demon. Under all of the circumstances. I just hope he hits a decent amount of shots the rest will take care of itself
I can't wait for this game. I just hope the cheap shots Thunder don't provoke Westbrook into technicals.
I don't like it. . . . The team ought to earn one more win without him. But D'Antoni's job is on the line.
We have to beat a team with an identical record without our 2nd superstar? Like why? If Harden has over-proven anything, is that he can lift an underdog to a good win %. We don't need to be proving anything anymore except winning it all. Anything to help win any game. We can't be precious about how it happens, we have a better opportunity than last season. Last season's team would be garbage against this season's team when healthy.
Now he's "available," @justtxyank, although not a big surprise because of the boycott's delay. The really nice surprise is seeing you post again. Haven't seen you too often recently!
Not trying to prove anything. This team should be able to win Game 5 without Westbrook. Not for no reason. So he can rest more. But maybe Westbrook will be A-OK starting now. Hope so!
Wonderful news on Russ! Whoever thinks he won't make a big difference in THIS series needs their noggin checked. I have to admit though, that I wanted to see us up at least 3-1, while finishing them off without RW...letting him rest. We can thank the League for one of those games, but the other is on us. So looking forward to the game today! Doris Burke isn't doing it is she?
