2 of the top 7 in the entire playoffs in negative wins added....

Further evidence we need to talk more about what Harden needs to do.

Morey should be sacked immediately forever for signing a scrub like Lin who is so bad that no one wanted to sign him anymore over a stud like Dragic

yeah... defensively I give him credit at least for trying to guard Lebron... cause that was a stupid idea.

and nothing is untradeable. But look at his regular season. Injured or just bad. Basically a 3 point specialist who shot 31.7% from three on 8+ a game. I guess the upside is a return to form... but there is something disappointing to me about this performance the year after getting an upcoming 4 year really nice contract.

but there are SO SO many guys now in the NBA that if he got the looks EG gets and the green light to shoot 8+ a game could give you 31.7% or more.

Well...he didnt do to bad tbh, all things considered.

I mean the Horford deal is probably on the table, i would not do it, but it is there...at least I think. It's a down year tbh, he's a career 37% shooter, he will progress towards the mean. I dont see him having a worse year than this one. The injury concerns are as you say still there though

Yea, there was no doubt that he was really bad this year. I think we can prolly get something for him if he shows up this season in the beginning....hey he may even play up to his contract lol....Idk...I'm not as low on EG as everyone else, I think he can return to being a good contributor. Westbrook on the other hand......:(

That was another time an owner decided he knew better than the GM. Les saw Lin and thought Chinese money!

Morey was arrogant and said no player options unless it’s for a star. He dropped the ball.

Knicks possibly could take him. If they are willing to give Minny some draft picks.

    https://spacecityscoop.com/2020/09/19/evaluating-five-theoretical-houston-rockets-trades-2021/6/

Harden/Towns? The reason you do this for Houston is , it indicates that the rockets want to rebuild quitely but want to find another player to rebuild around, Towns is only 24, and Harden contract ends when Towns will be in his Prime! So i think you do this, but keep james around for a few more years. If James is not happy then you get a good get for Harden. Towns is nice center to rebuild on. You could possibly get great haul for harden. But hey Harden might enjoy playing with the young center and not want out as he is dedicated to being loyal to Houston. They are going to find a coach to go back to old school posting up, and 2's, and layups, the small ball game will be thrown out the door.

Towns is a monster Center 25/10 at 24? I would pull this trade all day. Knicks are despreate enought to give those picks to NY for westbrook, and where as Timerwolves could rebuild and Rockets can as well.

    Obviouly this end

Getting anything worthwhile in return for Russ might be DM’s crowning achievement as a GM

On paper or in a vacuum, I agree. Maybe not this specifically, but something where its mutually helpful and advantageous to both teams. But I worry about the fallout on Harden's psyche. He and Westbrook are such pals and all. Would Harden be bitter if we flush his friend? Or would he handle it just fine? I think we would do good to not have a unhappy or pouting Harden around if we can help it.

Cause even a one legged Blake shoots better than Westbrick!

Blake and Harden don’t make a contender . We need three solid pieces to offset the lakers Locomotive that is LeBron and Davis for the foreseeable future.

Well, if by "solid pieces," you mean star-level top 25 players, the Rockets currently have one. So if they could move Westbrook to increase that number to two, that's an improvement. The likelihood that they could take the lack of cap flexibility and bad contracts on this roster and turn it into three of those guys is basically zero.

Why do you think this? Blake Griffin has been on some of the most loaded teams ever. All star point guard, center, 3 point shooting, 6th man of the year. He hasn’t done anything with a lot of help around him. He played with Paul for years. Why would he do anything now that he broken and not finding the success he once had?

this article has Minny giving up Towns to get EG and Julius Randle in return...

Why even post something so absurd and nonsensical?

Absolutely, just do the usual Morey trade and attach a first rounder (or two) for someone to take his contract off our hands. I think we still have a couple of first round picks left...right???

Lmao this is Hardens boy. Westbrook isn’t going anyplace. Harden is perfectly happy with playing with Russ.
