You just left yourself open for a wide hook with that logic.

"Harden should have never joined the conversation. Horrible defense? Give me a break. A new frontier in turnover numbers? Give me a break."

Wasn't Kawhi's best game even before getting injured. But Kawhi has trouble vs. Andre Roberson who has a similar physical profile. The guy is still having a great year as is Harden. But man Westbrook's numbers are staggering and hard to ignore. He may hold the edge right now.

Turnover yea, but u should watch more games. Commenting on harden being terrible on defense exposes u as a fake. The narrative for kawhi isn't as strong as harden or Westbrook for MVP. Sorry to disappoint u closet spurs fan.

Did did Westbrook just steal the MVP from Kawhi Leonard?

Did MVP just steal the Westbrook from Kawhi? Or did Harden steal the LeBron from MVP?

I've never really understood why fans care that much about MVP and why the media talks that much about MVP.

Honestly, for me, I don't really care. If Harden wins it, that would be cool sure. If he doesn't, oh well.

Either way I just want the Rockets to win a championship. This year, next year, 5 years from now... I just want them to win and hope that they win one soon.

    The Spurs looked off tonight...

Still salty about the horrible reffing for our game vs Spurs. We should have won that.

As much as I think Westbrook doesn't deserve MVP, the media likes him way too much. We all know the media won't give Harden or the Rockets ****, so Harden is going to lose it again this year. It sucks, but that's the truth.

On the bright side, and the hopeful side, let's hope Harden can just (finally) get wild in the playoffs and we can get to the finals. Because honestly, if Harden doesn't win MVP, he better win finals MVP.

I think this would be easier to keep straight by employing the word "obsolete" more liberally . . . as in did Kawhi make LeBron's theft of Harden's player's MVP obsolete?

    I'm serious.

**** my bad guys. This was not a good day for the beard. Westbrook is back....shitty shooting like I said but triple dub is all that matters. Kawhi and the Spurs get their excuse with him on the bench not able to close the game. Hopefully he's injured against the Warriors or plays like **** warriors win. Cant have him put up a big game and Spurs w. Harden needs to put bron in his place

Spurs are ripe for the tasking. Lets hope we finish third and we get them in the second round. We can take them in 6. They are not the same team anymore. They are losing their mystic to age of their stars whom played pivotal roles in their glory years.

Yeah I admit I was dead wrong. But who knows if kawhi doesn't get hurt what happens. Anyhow, tonight's game is bigly as the don would say. Harden needs to step up and dominate like we've become used to. Then off to Sunday. Seriously not even too concerned about bron. It's in Houston and the beard performs well against the top comp , and he knows he needs to after all the bs over loving of kawhi after he has a decent game against the bearded one. Here's my prediction: Spurs lose on sat - kawhi out. Harden dominates tonight and against bron - harden is in the drivers seat. Westbrook will get some love for awhile but he will go back to losing and enough people aren't voting a chuker on a 7th seed, 11th or so best record in the league. Bron - he's done. Harden with the death blow on Sunday.

MVPs have had bad defense since forever. Magic? Kareem? Nash? Shaq? Dirk? Stephen ****ing Curry?

There's never been anyone who won MVP who put up anemic stats like 2 assists 2 rebs and won an MVP, esp. in a season where one dude is averaging a triple double and the other guy is the assist leader and gets nights like 50 pts 12 rebs 11 assists once a month. Kawhi isn't the scoring or assist leader, his team isn't no 1, his load isn't the heaviest, he doesn't play a lot of mins, he takes games off etc. There is no reason for him to be MVP, the OP just got blinded by his 1 good game against the Rox.
