It want me a 7 secs offense...this will be totally new.
Its will be a pressure offense I'm terming it.
Get rebound n bam russ full speed to Collapse defense(gainnis style). If he gets walled off, kicks it to trailer harden to dance. Russ then plays a 2 man game with harden like him n cp3 would do. Clint stays in the dunkers spot

I have a feeling, that this season is going to be special. For all of our whining and complaining, DM has produced a superstar only 2 years removed from being MVP for an aging superstar. Yes, we can argue that we've partly mortgaged our future, but it's been 17 years since we were vying for top 5 picks.

Yes, his pull ups are line drive shots.

Just some fun tidbits on the last 3 MVP’s on drives in 18/19 season:
*keep in mind Bucks and Rockets offered better perimeter shooters, imho.

    https://stats.nba.com/players/drives/

    Player..................drives/game...FGM/FGA.....FG%........FTM/FTA.....FT%........Pts.....PTS%....Pass....Pass%..(cont’d)
    Harden:
    .....................19.6............4.9/ 9.3.........52.8%........3.7/ 4.3.......86.5%.....14.0....71.3%.....6.1........31.1%
    Antetokounmpo:......12.5............3.0/ 4.8.........63.3%.........2.5/ 3.4.......
    74.8%......8.9.....70.9%.....4.4........35.2%
    Westbrook:................18.4............3.0/ 5.9.........50.2%.........1.5/ 2.4.......
    64.0%......7.5.....40.7%.....9.7........52.8%

    Player..(drives continued) : .Ast.........Ast%...........TOV...........TOV% (on drives)
    Harden:......................................2.2.........11.3%............1.5.............7.7%
    Antetokounmpo:.....................0.9..........7.5%.............1.1..............8.7%

    Westbrook: ...............................2.8..........15.5%...........1.3.............7.1%

So I believe if Westbrook could improve on his FT% (on drives). I could see point production climb slightly on drives.

Better Rockets perimeter shooters should increase from the 40.7% (PTS%) of last season.

Westbrook “Passes” off drives are higher than both Harden and Antetokounmpo (last season). Promising.

Pass% of Westbrook blows Harden and Westbrook away. Again shows great promise.

Ast% of Westbrook again is better than both Harden/Antetokounmpo.

I don’t believe Westbrook will get as many rebounds as he did in OKC, but a good rebounder for point guard.
Nice if both Harden and Westbrook could get 6 per game.

It’s hard to believe Westbrook could change; like a leopard can’t change their spots.....but they can be covered
up by some dirt or mixed into the background as a means of not standing out. Westbrook was 2.1 (FGM) out
of 6.3 (FGA) from 5 ft to 19 feet per game. Basically 6.3 mid-range shots per game last season. Increase in FT%
can help cover over some of those spots. Maybe cut down to 4 or 5 of these mid-range shots per gm helps improve
    efficiency.

Harden and Westbrook can both get triple doubles in the same game if they wanted to. Sacriface is more about pinpointing exactly what they need to do on the court to maximixe their chances to win.

Wait. 7 second offense? No more Harden masturbating the basketball?

If TMNJ is gonna bring the ball up while on the court with Harden, I guess that’ll be true.

But the other 13 minutes, we’ll see.

Haven’t been on this site for several weeks before the trade so I haven’t all the discussions but my thoughts are CP3 gave the offense a calmness that it needed in most of the games last season. He got the whole team involved and set the pace of the offense. He also played big minutes with the second unit. Who’s going to do that this year? Will rivers play big minutes as harden and Westbrook sits or will Westbrook lead second unit? Who’s righting the ship in tough times? It’ll be interesting to see.

If you are right about those upcoming averages... it’s still crazy good. What I want to see from WB is if he can bump up his shooting percentage 12-15% from last year.

So does this mean hew wasn't willing to sacrifice for a championship when he was with OKC?

Harden and Russ combined projected averages per game this coming season:

    60 pts
    16 reb
    17 assists
    5 steals

If Gordon averages 18/3/3 you are talking about roughly 80 pts 20 rebs 20 assists and 6 steals from just those three players.

That’s not counting Capela who was our 2nd leading scorer last year, and top rebounder. Plus contributions from the bench.
