Oh yeah. Maybe Ainsley Hayes can quit CSI: Miami and work in a Vinnick administration. I could go for that too.
They have dropped a couple of heavy hints that it was CJ who leaked. I've forgotten all the details but they had her staring into space in a deep contemplation that contextually could have had her considering leaking the story. Plus she has opposed the lack of action to get about the rescue. Also, when President Bartlett was railing about it, she looked at her shoes-- in shame sort of. Wasn't Toby really pissed that he was bypassed for Chief of Staff. That would be a real comback for him to go to the mat for CJ. Also, Mary McCormack came into Toby's office near the end proclaiming that she knew who it wasn't... and she shut the door. So she's either going to throw herself at Toby or divulge the culprit or divulge the wrong culprit.
Both are signed to "availability" deals (meaning a 6-8 episode run) for (presumably) the campaign and election storyline. Neither is signed as a full-time addition to the cast.
Toby was actually pissed that it wasn't Josh that got the COS. I'm also pretty sure it's CJ. There will have to be a secondary plot in the new season and it could be CJ going to jail.
Yeah that was a pretty big hint, and it was to end an episode - meant to be dramatic and foreboding. Also, let's not forget that she was the one that first brought up the idea when she went to Toby to ask if his brother had ever mentioned it.
CJ and Toby will be my guess.... loved the spilt series following the campaign and also Bartlett's illness and last days think the election will be great and also this shuttle thing in the background..... had a feeling when Bartlett said to Leo to get Josh in he was planning to get Leo as VP maybe it has dropped off some since Sorkin left (i don't really think so), but really it is still a damn fine show on it's own, let alone in comparison to most tripe on TV
Okay, I've got it. Bartlett will send the military shuttle up to save the astronauts because he thinks Vinnick will win the election then the Republicans will have to deal with the problem.
