It does, doesn't it. I'm already starting to miss the show. I'd love to see next season with Santos, Josh, Sam, et al.
loved the scene between Toby and CJ and good to see some progress with CJ and Danny i want another series
I guess you all heard the promo that they will be airing the very first epidose the hour before the usual time slot for the final episode... Any talk of spin-off shows with this crew. CJ has become the star... maybe Will running for Congress in Oregon against the hateful Republican? Toby hitting the job market with a Presidential pardon on his resume would be interesting. It's a shame they've terminated the show.
I heard that there was supposed to be an hour retrospective before the final episode. Now it's the pilot? I'm disappointed.
Maybe I mis-heard, but what I carried away was a re-broadcast of the first episode (which is not the pilot I would gather) followed by the final series episode.
Awesome episode for CJ. It was just a fabulous showcase for Janney, Busfield and Schiff. Although about that one line about CJ living the first line of her obituary, well that probably applies to Janney as well, because it's all downhill after this. Looking ahead to the finale, here's what I'd like to see: Toby getting pardoned. Josh and Donna having some sort of capper conversation like how CJ and Danny had. Charlie getting more than throwaway lines, and having some scene with Bartlett for closure. Sam getting Deputy Communications and Ainsley getting White House Council and having them run into each other to hint at the possiblities (I always like them together. They could have been the West Wing's Carville and Matlin) There are others, but these are the main ones. I guess I'm just old school. I'd just like to see the original cast get the send-off that they deserve, rather than focusing a lot on the newer guys like Santos, Will, Kate etc. If they can pull off both then fine, but that's a lot to tackle in an hour. Or is it a two hour deal, because that would help a lot in fitting everything in.
Man, i can't believe this is it... Good episode...the Toby and CJ scene was great...I am looking forward to the finale...CJ seems to be getting hotter as she's aged...
Amazing episode for a truly special, one-of-a kind TV show. As far as political dramas go, this was the definitive series. To think of a show of this quality is going off the air is really sad.....thought-provoking, challenging, quick, relevant, witty, educational and powerful are just some of the words that come to mind. West Wing.........you will be missed.
To me, it's the #1 all time best TV drama series ever. ( I can't really put a list together but Hill Street Blues, NYPD Blue, Perry Mason, Homocide, Sopranos, X-files, Gunsmoke and Deadwood would all be up there)
Did I miss something? What happened with Josh and Donna? They were sitting together at the inauguration...
I only started watching this a year or so ago, but have grown to love it...Although, the 1st 3 seasons were the best...I was expecting more for a series finale, but overall ok... I liked the "What's next" from Santos...I would have liked more from Josh/Donna, etc., but good to see Toby get the Pardon... I liked this last season a lot, not as good as first 3 seasons, but better than the previous 3...
