Coogs get to 7-1 and finally a top 25 ranking then immediately **** the bed at home against a 2-6 team.

    That is called “Cooging it”.

    Long standing tradition

This one is on the coaching staff. The team wasn't prepared, so their visit to the rankings will be short-lived.

WVU came into the game averaging 20.5 points, and that's including the opening 45 they dropped on some guy named Robert Morris, poor b*stard.

I did not expect the UH defense to just crater today.

The offense gave this game away. They put the defense in poor situations all day.

4 Turnovers is hard. The red zone INT pick 6 was the backbreaker.

Only as a coping mechanism for the bigger structural issues that kept them perpeturally two steps behind every nearby traditional FBS program. The 7-1 run was the fluke, likely just a confluence of good scheduling and down years for a succession of opposing programs. including that reality show taping in Boulder. U of H is not a prominent or consistently successful enough to be in a position to "coog" anything, that's why we're cosplaying a dead AFC team half the season. that the "ship has sailed" but the coach has basic enough people skills to not say it is probably an improvement.

This team is substantially better than it has been in a while.

That being said, they were always capable of laying eggs. It was only a matter of time.

Its a long standing UH tradation to lose a game they shouldn't and win one they shouldn't and they did both in back to back week.
