Wilt could bench 500lbs while setting long jump records . He also was an accomplished track athlete !
All I know is that Ron and the Rockets can completely shut him down... 7-21 with ZERO assists and 1 rebound.
agree with all that except the "his teammates love him" everybody loves everybody when they're winning....let's see what happens when the cavs run into adversity........or maybe LBJ is so good, they'll go all the way and it wont even happen
I know he is said to be 260lb by some people but he doesn't even look close to being that heavy. Karl Malone was Lebron's height or taller and played at a reported 260lb. Compare their builds and Malone looks to be at least 25lb heavier. In fact, most players that are listed at Lebron's weight (and are always taller) look quite a bit heavier than he does. Hell, Dwight Howard is only 265lb and he is much, much bigger than Lebron. I'm a little surprised at how people think the guy is so big. Freakishly athletic? Yes. Stronger than most players in the game? Yes. But his build alone is not freakishly impressive if you are looking for muscle mass.
physically, LeBron is one of the greatest athletes of all time.. I do, however, have a major problem with the mental aspect of his game. I know a lot of you ESPN automatons will flame me for this, but his IQ isn't anywhere close to top notch in the NBA. It is true, you might argue, that better IQ != better player, and you might cite Shane Battier as an example: one of the highest IQ players in the league, and nothing but a little role player who can't score. But for me to rank someone in the "GOAT" class, I would have to see outstanding mental grasp on this game, and right now, LeBron doesn't have that, his decision making is satisfactory, but not great, not even close to the theoretical Tracy McGrady (theoretical is a key word , the theoretical Tmac would be a lot higher on the "GOAT" list than LeBron, too bad he's a figment of my imagination and a thing of the past ) .. call me insane/r****ded/stupid/whatever you want, but if I was to build a franchise around an ageless player (ie: in his prime), I would take Steve Nash over LeBron James in a heart beat.. by the way, durvasa, my LeBron-worshiping friends would tell you that I only refer to "the chosen one" as "the crab-dribbler on roids" or "that roided-up crab-dribbler" .. I have no doubt in my mind that he has used some sort of unapproved enhancement drug.. Add Corey Regrette to that list of roid suspects. When was the last time someone was exposed in the NBA for juicin up?
You think Baron Davis is one of the greatest point guards of all time, and a top 5 scorer in the NBA. Your opinion carries as much weight as Calista Flockhart.
Have you watched any Cavs games? Or do you only watch ESPN highlights made for automatons and draw your conclusion from that?
OMG the PointForward guy is killing me with all the conspiracy NBA theories and ESPN hype stuff. Geezus.
