at full health 4 and 40 is acceptable for wes matthews, he is good at what he does but shouldn't be overpaid that substantially
lol not even for a single year would i give him that is this dude r****ded? he just came of a bad injury and wants 15 mill? lmao
Its never about how much you are worth, its about how much someone is willing to pay you just ask Parsons. Everyone knows the cap is going up and also that LMA might be leaving. Matthews is sitting in a position of strength and knows that POR cant lose both he and LMA.
That's a shame. Even if a team manages to sign him to a reasonable contract players tend in his situation to mope afterwards from not receiving what they perceive themselves to be worth, ie they become a bad signing either way.
Wonder what the Blazers are trying to do: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Sources say 76ers and Blazers have discussed a deal that would give Philly #23 pick in exchange for #35 and #37 picks (and possibly more).</p>— Alex Kennedy (@AlexKennedyNBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/AlexKennedyNBA/status/613409661576941569">June 23, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
This is interesting. If they lose LMA, there's no way they can compete in the already-ultra-competitive WC. They're either blowing it up or going all in. Probably no middle ground.
