If Duncan doesn't play, don't we have a huge chance of beating them in a 7 game series? So, Rox getting a 7th seed is not too bad either.

Now that Rockets have secure the playoff and has no chance moving to 4th spot. Maybe they should rest Yao and Tmac more and distribute minutes more equal among the players, at the risk of losing all remaining games. I think it is worth the risk.
6th or 7th is fine. I dont think spurs are gonna risk Duncan for the early part of the post season. Seattle or Spurs, first round looks like a W for us. We will meet both teams in the first two rounds anyways. We may very well reach the western semis. Suns vs Rox ?
You guys do realize that the 5th seed is still very possible don't you? The Kings are only one game ahead of the Rockets with five games remaining: at Lakers, Lkaers, at Suns, Suns, and at Utah. I'd rather play the Mavs than San Antonio or Phoenix.
How long is the break between the regular season and the playoffs ? With all the fatigue and injuries going on with the Rox I'm wondering how much rest they can squeeze in.
I was just thinking the opposite, don't want anything to do with the 5th seed if it means playing the Mavs. I always thought if the Mavs ever played D they would have a real shot a the title, Avery has these guys focusing on D now with Nelson gone. The Mavs are going to be very dangerous in the playoffs with Avery as the coach and having all their players back from IL.
How does 2 DAYS grab you? The Rockets last game is on Wednesday the 20th. The NBA Playoffs start on Saturday the 23rd and Sunday the 24th. BTW, Sports fans have to love that weekend. Start of the NBA Playoffs and the NFL Draft! Great stuff!

its going to play out like this: we gonna get the 6th seed in the first round we beat seattle 4-2 vanquishing a old nemesis from the 90s then we face the suns (yes they will fall to #2) and after getting down 3-1 john barry hits a three from the right corner in game 7 to give the win and the series to the rockets. its the kiss of death redux and somewhere joe kliene is crying. finally when duncan is awarded his mvp trophy in the wcf, t-mac gets pissed and says "sleeper mvp my ass" and goes off as the rockets win in 6 games. t-mac averages 38ppg,7.5rpg,6.3assists,2,3stls and 1.7 to a game. barkley afterwards says, "the spurs are young GINIOBILI wasnt ready the rockets are still soft they got lucky since the mvp wasnt 100%" JVG before game 1 of the finals responds by saying "Chuck should just shut his fat mouth now before I shut it for him" Miami Houston finals, Yao shows the world why he was chosen as the #1 and the whole wade is as good as tmac arguements gets laid to rest as the rockets sweep shaq and his heat 4-0. the rockets have moved back into the winners circle thats my story and i am sticking to it
