I guess we should have been nicer to the "injured" Bulls. Maybe we shouldn't have been so rough and gave them a break considering all their locker room troubles. Look, no one is saying that they beat an ELITE team but the Rockets played great and look a lot more fluid and seem to be playing with more confidence. You're right, Detroit has two good legs. They really didn't utilize them though the last time we played them even after through our atrocious free throw shooting.
All I want the Rockets to do is lay it on the line tomorrow just like at Denver and Chicago. They don't even have to win. Just show me a continuing trend towards energetic, purposeful basketball that indicates we will continue to get better.
I agree with you completely and I believe that these last few games have shown that we are growing together as a team. Granted, we lost against the Nuggets but it was a loss that gleamed with potential of how our team is capable of playing. I know we would have won that game if we had Tracy in there but I loved the warrior mentality we demonstrated out there. Look, there are only a few elite teams in the NBA so the majority of our victories will come against sub par or equal teams. Any victory should be celebrated and be judged the same no matter the level of the opponent. We've seen that scrub teams can beat the best of the best in this league. We've all heard the same excuses repeatedly about our slow start but it needs to be reinforced to the naysayers out there: It takes time to build chemistry and get comfortable with each other especially when a new offensive system is being implemented. I think our team is catching on and soon we'll be climbing up the standings like a damn....rocket into space.
