That is correct but let me elaborate.

I mean it would be great to see the Rockets reach the playoffs, but with the way they have been playing, if we win 1 game, it should be an accomplishment.

I mean it would be different if we won like 50 games or something, but you can make the argument that we are not any better than we were last season. We have been fortunate that Utah has been down this season and that Phoenix mailed it in earlier on this season PLUS Portland going in a different direction.

In other words, we have been the beneficiary of a weaker West - not that we have improved.

To me, 5 seasons is plenty of time to see if a team can do well with what they have. This team has been maddening and frustrating to watch and although they show flashes of brilliance, they come up short.

I know that I am an impatient person, but the this mix of Rocket players would test the patience of the Pope.

Remember that Les thinks this team should be winning 50 or more games. He can't be happy and he already got rid of a coach, so the next logical thing is to start making some deals and trying a new mix. They just need to figure out the type of team that will succeed and the players to make that happen and hope that they don't become busts once they get in a Rocket uniform.
