This made me smile this morning. Greg Abbott, Ordered To Pay Wendy Davis' Legal Fees The state of Texas was ordered Thursday to reimburse Wendy Davis for over $200,000 in legal fees that she spent fending off a Republican attempt to carve up her legislative district (and, in the process, disenfranchise minorities in the area). The kicker is that the one responsible for reimbursing her is Attorney General Greg Abbott, who she’s currently running against in the governor’s race.
I'm cool with them voting, but not with them driving. Not for any moral or religious reason, just public safety.

I wonder what the breakdown is of how those resources are spent. If it's TV ads, the returns on raising more money could diminish as more viewing moves online.
Hahaha wtf? Both are feminist, but one is definitely more heroic. This is like having a picture of Spud Webb and Michael Jordan and saying "who's the real nba player?"
Great article, oh wait not really. The focal point of the law was shutting down clinics and funding of PP. It is really safeguarding women's health. Look at illegal abortions being performed in RGV, now the women there are going to have an even harder time having a safe abortion.
PP is free to get funding for their abortion mills, just not involuntarily from the taxpayer (i.e. public funding). Not subsidizing does not equal shutting down. And it wasn't about shutting down clinics, it was about improving the required medical standards so you don't end up with chop shops like in Pennsylvania and Houston. These are popular positions (certainly in Texas), and why Wendy Davis has no chance of winning (beyond her phony life story).
If this was about improving medical standards of clinic why do they not fund clinics to live up to whatever standard they want? Instead, they just close down the clinics...bc it is about closing down clinics, not improving them, sorry you can't see that. http://news.yahoo.com/texas-women-already-getting-flea-market-abortions-161100835.html So now that access to even what was considered substandard (keep in mind sufficient for ~40 years until now for some reason) is harder to come by if not possible at all for many women.
It's like reading the text from Talking Point Bot 3000. Somewhere in the jargon, the cyborg hopes to find a talking point and/or buzzword that hits all key metrics across humans and androids.
To be fair, Wendy Davis did filibuster (and kill during the regular session) the education cuts in 2011 that Perry and Dewhurst rammed through the Senate. She should get some credit on that front as well.
