Briefly, how old are you? Should we even be posting in your threads or are you like one of those r****ds that like hitting the New Thread button which we quietly ignore?
Uh, why not try to do something other than jacking up shots if Tracy ain't making them? Like slowing it down and letting hot-handed Juwan try some plays? I'd have done that.
There is no one to go to since no one else has been prepared to step in. This team will get better but I believe JVG needs to trust all of his players to be able to contribute.
I agree with you there. Juwan was feeling it. I gotta put that blame on McGrady there too. He's the one handling the ball and setting up plays. Seemed like he was trying to shoot the Rockets into the game, which really backfired tonight.
That's still JVG's fault though, because if Tracy is calling audibles and he's messing up, JVG needs to call a timeout, pull off T-Mac's pants, and start spanking him with a paddle.
why wasnt Snyder on Barbosa in the second half? and all the "not JVGs fault he didnt make yao/mac play bad" well he let barbosa score 32... bad schedule against the suns this season though. 3 games rockets played the suns this year its been back to backs while the suns had 2-3 days of rest
No kidding.I thought the two guys that played well besides Hayes was Howard and JL3. But they got the least minutes? I give McGrady a pass. To me he played no different than he always plays...just wasnt feeling it tonight. One question I do have, Why no Mcgrady on the low block? I seem to remember he was real successful from there. I guess JVG doesnt agree?
Coming off a back-to-back with Yao still rounding into shape, did you really think the Rockets would be able to win if McGrady, Yao and Alston shoot so poorly? Name any scheme ever. The shots were there, the Rockets just didn't hit them. The Rockets contained Nash and Stoudemire (sp) and got burned by Barbosa, Diaw and Jones. They hit 60% on their three pointers for Christ's sake! Pick your poison with the Suns. The Rockets still managed to hold them under their average and kept it close for three quarters. Let's say Van Gundy runs Snyder and Spanoulis out there and puts Yao in the high post...do you see them winning against the Suns tonight with the way Yao and McGrady were shooting? There is no coaching adjustment to counter with when your superstars are bricking shots they normally hit. In a seven game series, I bet the Rockets can win a few games and make it interesting against the Suns, but this is just a bad match up for them. The Spurs are no more athletic than the Rockets, but they win against the Suns because they use Parker and Ginobili to get to the basket and make Nash exert himself on the other end. The Rockets don't have anybody on the roster who can do that besides TMac.
