Guys have pointed out again and again that the Chron has reported the same quotes. Looks like you are the stupid one here who can't even read.
Unfortunately, I'm afraid I share the same sentiments. Considering how quiet he usually is about problems, it is definitely worrying that he's being so vocal about his emotions lately.
I like the idea of benching all the starters, except maybe Yao. Yao still cares, but benching the rest of the starters would send a huge message. Here is the starting lineup: James Wells Snyder Scola Yao bench: Francis, TMac, Battier, etc We dont have to keep it that way for too long, but a shakeup could help awake the passion in our team. The new starters will play hard to prove they are worthy, and the old starters will play hard to get their places back. Scola plays with passion he deserves to start. James Wells and Snyder did a decent job in the 4th quarter, lets see how they do with a little extra time.
Yao's being too vocal...Yao's not being vocal enough. Come on, let him do what he wants. He's not whining, he's expressing how he is feeling, describing what the team chemistry has been like. I don't see a problem with this at all. He's not targeting a particular player. Larry Bird use to criticize his team during the playoffs and they responded to win it all. We aren't even close to being comparable to the Celtic Dynasty, but every great player has this competitive fire. Yao is the leader, hopefully the rockets respond to this.
Thats probably because we live in Houston. Honestly Shaq has always been that way. I don't really care, he's an entertainer.
How could you still not be able to feel the difference and effort they have been putting on the floor. It so obvious they have problems with each other. All they care is about themselves nobody gives the rats about winning. Right now most of the players just wants to go on the court jerk off walk around and call it a day. No heart of playing at all. When one of them is trying other is not and then on the next game it goes the other way around. They have no committment. This team could never be like the spurs, mavs, suns.
yea,stupid website_http://www.chron.com/news, and stupid BLOG_http://blogs.chron.com/nba/, http://blogs.chron.com/franblinebury/
Adelman is to blame by far.... it seems that the players were all forced to play in areas they are not comfortable with and everyone is just not buying his system. Yao in high post... wrong... T-Mac dominating the ball... wrong... Francis must have been told not to shoot and pass to Yao only... wrong (media involved also) especially when it seems MJ and Rafer have the freedom to shoot whatever brick they like. Team bonding and chemistry... wrong... Please Morey get Larry Brown or Mario Elie or SOMEONE who can use this damn teams talent without tearing them to shreds!
I don't think T-Mac would do such a thing, but I don't know about Yao, after hearing some of the head-scratching things he said last year about JVG. Either that or it was bad translation or fabricated articles.
This sounds good to me. Pull up your pants and go kick some ass during the next game. Golly, we might even win it!
I don't get these lines at the beginning. I looked back to the op post again and I guess this quote might confuse some here: The Chinese article explicitly pointed out that Yao was referring to the "changes" of his teammates' performance and mentalities in recent games. Not the new systems nor game plans. I believe this shot is directed to his teammates, not the coaches. Yao talked too much already. He should hold a team meeting at Yao Restaurant and reunite his teammates again. Get everyone's mind straight and seek for solutions together. I still believe.
He is a center, not guard, and he is not like Tmac that gifted. At least I can see he is care, worry, and try his best and agree to do anything for team to win. I don't see this from our another superstar.
This would make our another superstar feel ...... Maybe he think the man call the meeting should be him...... I just want to see HEART.
