That is NOT to Chinese media. The Sohu article was a translation direct from Jonathan Feigen of Houston Chronicle.
I feel Yao is under huge pressure now, and he is on the edge of the breaking down! I hope media and fans can give him a break.
I just wanna say sth about YAO.He is the most intelligent and powerful and famous basketball player in China. He has been working hard for many many years. He intends to be the biggest C,and improve Chinese basketgame and the relationship between US and China.Maybe he has the biggest group of funs all over the world. In additon, what I got say is he certainly has much pressure and responsibility, and a large part of what he has earned have to hand into his nation. So obviously he is purely working in his way---becoming the biggest C and leading ROCKETS champion! but now he is in trouble, and a little depressed.A new strange coach with his completely different strategies must be a challenge to YAO,a Chinese guy, don't forget he's character is different to Americans. He needs time and we need patience. YAO deserves your supports. Let's see what will happen next. That's all.
are u kidding me bob? As a Chinese you should the quality of news of Sina and Sohu! why you guys always tends to trust the news from the STUPID chinese website? these stupid websites always send some stupid news which are totally made up.
I haven't been able to watch the games, but it seems pretty embarrassing. I can only hope that the Rox will rise up from this and grow stronger.
Well the OP of this thread missed one very important quote of Yao Ming out of that second sohu.com article. He is definitely hinting something.
I dont have a problem with Yao. Whether he does well or struggles i know he cares and he is trying. What i want to see is a commitment from the ENTIRE TEAM to run the offense and look for the open man. In the 4th quarter when it was just the bench players in the game there was a huge difference in the quality of play. It wasnt perfect but they were playing as a team. Tmac is the biggest culprit here. He is too accustomed to playing outside of the gameplan. He has been given too much privilege to do what he likes. He doesnt deserve it. Its time to play teamball or sit. Period.
wtf does yao have to include himself as part of being guilty everytime he lays blame... if you're guilty of what you accuse others of, you should shut up and solve your own problem first.
