    I apologize for my limited oppurtunities to post on the BBS...but never the less..whether the cat is here or not...collier was a bad draft pick and 11 points and 7 rebounds is a stat that the number 9 pick in the draft should have every preseason night, not just one...and ill say that no matter who is still around to read my posts at 3 am...collier sucks until he shows me otherwise

    There wasn't one player in the entire NBA draft that did that every preseason night. Not Kenyon Martin. Not Stromile Swift. No one. Might need to reexamine your technique in judging players. And he was #15.

    You just gotta love the maturity here on the Clutch BBS! Everywhere else in the world it's innocent until proven guilty. Here it's guilty until proven innocent! You're a smart one.

    let me give you a little taste of my maturity...
    ..this is what i think of jason collier...
    ..he is the worst player in the history of the rockets...
    ...i would rather have charles jones, earl cureton. pete chilcutt, anybody except him..
    ..jason collier is a gigantic failure...
    so he hasnt played 50 games to make me know for sure..it doesnt matter...you can freaking tell...he is f******* worthless... i would have taken any other player in the draft but him...you name it..id take it...is there a chance he could prove me wrong...NOchance ..i am so sure jason collier will not be an effective player i would bet you 100 dollars on it, if i ever saw you face to face..i just cant see it...i mean all the signs are there...hes slow, hes weak, hes overall just nothing a talented strong nba player is...when he shows me he doesnt SUCK..let me repeat that HE SUCKS...when he shows me he doesnt...then ill admit i was wrong and ill admit i am 3 years old and your B***h, CAT...
    theres my maturity....choke it down....

    No way, I won't let it die. A slow work day, and a thread I've been avoiding since Tuesday night!

    The newbies (kidrock8, Holden, other Collier bashers) don't seem to be getting the point. The Cat isn't annointing Collier as the next great center. His point of this thread was to show that you cannot make a proper evaluation of a rookie after six preseason games, most of which he didn't play in. Now if Collier is still playing like this come February or March (given playing time), I trust The Cat, along with myself, will admit that Collier may have been a bad draft pick.

    Behad, it's always good to see a veteran laying some well-deserved smack!!!

    I think the overall deal for collie will turn out for the best, but its just hard to accept at face value. Why? Cause last time we had a lottery pick we came away with a guy who started on a championship team for us. When the ballclub is back up to championship caliber, if collie is still part of the puzzle, he wont be a starter. He does have the potential to be a solid contributer though.
