    Nice point about Cato being the future centre for the rockets. Maybe instead of bashing the guy who has only played a handful of preseason games and thats it (he's a rookie), get stuck into the guy with the 42 million dollar contract who fouls and drops passes more than he scores or rebounds and has a bad attitude to boot.

    Hey Cat, Cato can jump high and block shots. And he also looks cool when he throws down the monster jam. So I would rather have him at C then Jason Collier. [​IMG]

    where did cat say he would rather have Collier at Centre than Cato, he actually said Collier will be a back-up and hence have to face the premier centres of league very little.

    maybe try reading first

    PS Cato also fouls alot and drops passes by the dozen and eats up a **** load of cap room doing it.

    And FrancisFan, as far as no projects should be chosen in the first round, are you kidding me??????????

    I would have looked up some examples, but it looks like a fellow poster has already done so. Cat has also mentioned that you go with the best that there is as long as there a roster spot for him in that position. Whether we should have gotten Collier is very debateable, but I think that Rockets fans were just expecting too much out of that #9 slot.

    You're no fool? I say one post with one measly good opinion should be no basis for a good poster.
    As far as I can tell, you have potential, but the jury is still out. At times, it seems like you are lost on the board. I think I also see too many "I agree with everything he says" posts. I don't like such posts.

    FrancisFan has already decided to ignore your posts completely, but The Cat insists that there might be something there.

    Me? I voted for you in the "Most likely to be a bad poster" poll. This is not to say that I think you won't crank out some good posts...eventually.

    The humorous part is that I barely see any threads that say, "oops, we were wrong, Langhi really isnt the second coming of God"
    Remember after the RMR everybody was ****ing in their pants about Langhi. It was very disgusting. Now, Collier is at least looking much better than Langhi but nobody is bashing Langhi.

    Ill give them both time before I make further evaluations. Im no fool either [​IMG]

    Langhi never freaking plays...
    and i would expect that collier could have at least game with 11 points and 7 boards..he is playing in the nba ...currently. but ill bet you a million dollars, any single player taken in the draft could have put up those numbers, im sure players not taken could have too. Collier is terrible and we wasted draft night on him. if dude puts up stat lines like this more than half of the games this season, i will be pleasantly shocked. we should cut him. use the roster space on rogers or bullard, one of which will be on the ir.

    I'm glad we found the second coming of Wilt Chamberlain... Almost, the only difference is that Collier will never sleep with 2 girls in his life, much less 20,000...

    Congrats Cat, on Collier's one game showing... I've got four games to shut you up...

    If you're gonna climax over an 11 point, 7 rebound game, then that shows that YOU also don't expect much from our first round pick...

    So I guess the norm for Collier will be 2 pts and 2 rebs if an 11 pt and 7 rebound game is a "BREAKOUT GAME"...

    Sure, it's better than I thought, but hardly anything to start getting giddier than a school girl over...

    Dr. N-Those projects have POTENTIAL for GREATNESS... At best, Collier could be a decent backup center who will play 15-20 minutes a game...
