Oh my god, do these freaks realize that the U.S. could wipe them off the Earth so completely and convincingly that we could build a parking lot on their country and people would forget they existed in 5 years? What's with people saying the U.S. will use nuclear weapons? They're not going to need nuclear weapons. They didn't use them when they destroyed Iraq, why would they need them now!?

They have been told all their lives that America is the root of evil, that they are impoverished because of the greedy Americans. The do not have any real perspective on how we live as a nation. The only way to change their views and the views of most people in that region is to educate them with the truth. Well, how do you do that, when all the Newspapers, and TV stations, etc are controlled by a government that finds it easier to have a scape goat like America then to face up to the lousy job that they are doing? You get rid of those governments that are oppressing these people, and let them finally taste the freedoms that we enjoy. It is not that wild of an idea. Of course I do not think it will happen, but you never know in a war. Pakistan has long been known to harbour and train terrorists. There are directly east of Afghanistan and terrorists have long used both countries as a hideout. Osama does not only hate America, he also has deep hatred for India with its vast Hindu population. They think they are some kind of a ****ing jihad to rid the world of Hindu and American domination! Osama has been known, along with Pakistan to sponsor terrorism in the state of Jammu/Kashmir. Islamabd of course denies any direct involvement, but "gives moral support" to the terrorists. Make no mistake about this. If there is a large scale war to rid Osamas gang and other terrorists groups, India will be eager to help the US. Kashmir is a part of India and they will be glad and take advantage of the opportunity to get rid of the terrorist in Kashmir, Afghanistan, etc. Once India gets involved, you can bet on Pakistan getting involved. Then there is China who is not particularly fond of India either. And we all know China may have some agendas of theri own. Well anyways you see the pattern that is unfolding I hope...
According to MSNBC, and posted in another thread, the Bush administration has stated that the use of nuclear weapons would be under active consideration is Afghanistan doesn't cooperate with the potenial capture of Bin Laden.
