Unexpected and sad. A few changes needed for next year, including losing Lou Williams fast, replacing Ariza, and I would like to see that stick figure, Capella, go as well.
So your solution is to lose instant offense, a good 3-and-D guy who fits in MDA's system, and a good up-and-coming center, while offering no alternatives. Cool story, brah. 10/10 would read again.
I agree with trying to upgrade Lou but as a role player off the bench he's fine. Ariza and Capela, what the hell game did you watch? They did their jobs. Anderson did not and the refs took it from there
I'm sorry, but did Capela not drop 12 points, 16 boards, 3 assists, and 5 blocks tonight? Tf are u talking about? I agree that we should be looking for an upgrade from Ariza.
It's the playoffs and we're playing the Spurs. Did you really think we were going to sweep this team, OP? Even without Parker, they're still a very disciplined and well balanced squad that has multiple pieces who are proven in the playoffs and can do damage. I'm not happy about the way these games have been officiated of late, but I'm also not happy about how timid the Rockets have played these last two games. Rudy T always said that you should never get too high over a win and you never get too low after a loss but try to stay in the middle. Remember, you have to win 4 games in order to advance and the Spurs have won 2 and we've won 1. Just knowing the Rockets history should tell you that even if we go down 3-1 we aren't out of a series just yet. Never go full r****d, OP.
The fact that your team is going to get their ass kicked by the Warriors next round if we lose is satisfying. Go Spurs go
He did, not only was he a beast blocking shots and getting boards, but his teammates (Harden/Gordon) blew multiple lob oppurtunities to him for well covered kick outs instead. No excuse for Capela to not have had 20 points tonight, Spurs are giving up the lob almost every time and Rockets aren't taking advantage. I don't think Ariza needs to go, he needs to get his minutes greatly reduced, he should be averaging 25mpg next season instead of his ridiculous 35mpg. Think Robert Covington would be an excellent player to come in and take the load off for him, we need another great perimeter defender who can play small ball 4 so we don't have to rely on Ariza so heavily. Do want Lou gone, his perimeter D is too trash. Total liability when he isn't hot on offense.
