If that was the actual roster size. There are 34 roster spots on each team.

 

It's totally excessive.

There are enough players who can play multiple positions so once you have the original selected All-Stars minus those sitting out due to injury or because of pitching on sunday, won't you still have enough players to field a team for 9 innings?

Also, how about adding some new and different events, or just have more of the those celebrity softball games but include only celebs like Kate Upton and Jenna Fischer...

i don't want to derail....having said that:

I plan to take some friends visiting from abroad to their 1st baseball game. Would you rather view from behind home plate or along 1st base line?

 

I've never been a fan of right behind home plate. I'd rather be up the first base line closer to where a lot of action occurs even if that means sacrificing being able to see plays across the field as well.
