Well its Offical the NHL season has been canceled. Who really Cares In Here?

wow...i don't know if i'd be happy or pissed if the canucks won the cup on a shortened season. wouldn't seem like the real thing...but just to have hockey back...even if the canucks never made the playoffs i'd be overjoyed.

bettman/goodenow are still assholes.

 

I dont like hockey, but I feel bad for all the hockey fans.

 

I don't watch Hockey much but they really should get rid of the Ties and just go with sudden death. it woudl really get more viewers and fans hyped up to see one on one action as well as makes great highlights.

I know soccer does it and it's all fine and dandy, but as you can see soccer doesn't go well here in the states and i think Hockey needs to just give the fans something more than just a tie to go home to.

That would make it a little bit interesting. But what do i know cuase i don't watch Hockey enough lol.

They are experimenting with shootouts after overtime in the AHL as well as no-touch icing like in Europe, which Aeros fans should have noticed...

If the rule changes are successful, then they will be brought over to the NHL either next season or the one after... unless all goes well in the CBA talks in the summer...
