Hey guys, Cosign. No matter what arguments and disagreements, we're all here for the same reason (for the most part). We're all Rockets fans! We're all Clutchfans! (Hats off to Clutch as well, I'm behind on my $22 for the streak but i'll get it in) It is fun always having something Rocket related to talk about, and with cool people like you on a cool site like this. Not some stupid site like JizzFanz, although that would make for a good ... nevermind.
It was a hell of a year. Adelman did an amazing job his first year. He really got his players to buy into the season and push themselves all the way to the very end. He did it with a 42 year old center starting, for crying out loud!! All in all, I'm very pleased by we played. We maintained our defense. We will be a force for years to come. Our main concern is if Tracy and Yao will ever play together for an entire season without getting hurt. If this ever happens (knock on wood), then we are definitely championship material. We need to keep our mentality and chemistry. We are such a team, that if we can maintain this throughout an entire season and stay healthy, it will take us great lengths. We have a great team, it's really just a matter of if it will ever all come together at the same time. Unfortunately, sometimes are just never able to realize their potential. Who knows, maybe Yao will continue to struggle with knee and foot injuries for the rest of his career (Ralph Sampson).
How do you say that with a straight face? We fought back from 19 down to bring it down to 2 and ended the half behind by only 4. This team did its best, but lets be real, with all our major weapons either out or limping on the court, the Jazz we just too much to handle. I am so proud of my squad! Great effort all season long!
