Looks like his leg is fine. He shouldn't bend his knees unnecessarily though.

I hope so. Yao is the only decent guy left in the NBA right now and I can tell my son he is the lone guy in NBA that can hold his soldier in his pants on the road.

I would bet a princely sum on Yao's fidelity to his wife. Yao may not be the only one in the whole league, though I can't think of another player to trust right now.

The day Yao becomes untrue to his wife is the day I completely reject the idea of marriage. And innate kindness in man.

dude he's an athlete. 99.9% of athlete cheats. yao may not have cheated and he may never will, but the chance is slim. do you know how many girls throw themselves at athletes like him?

you shouldn't reject the idea of marriage b/c of man simply not everyone has girls throwing themselves at his way everywhere he goes.

athletes/celebrities lead different lives than the average married person.

With all due respect, I don't think Yao is just "an athlete." Yao dated his wife for seven years before their marriage. If that's not commitment, I don't know what is.

And you are right, Yao is not "the average married person" -- the average married person has a relatively high chance of infidelity, but not Yao.

Yao is a very traditional Chinese in many aspects, and family value is by far the most important aspect of the Chinese culture, be it filial piety or marrital fidelity.

Of course there can be no factual proof to my conviction, but I remain stubbornly convinced.

    re the Yao fidelity discussion

i'd imagine that Yao isnt the biggest party goer in the world.

    so thats gotta help some.

additionally, can you imagine how a 7'6 guy is gonna be able to sneak around on anyone :p

Wait, you believe 99.9% of the men in the nba cheats and yet you will reject the idea of "innnate kindness in man" only when Yao cheats? haha.. it makes no sense.. do you even know what that phrase meant when you typed it?

Mother Teresa makes the possibility of innate kindness hard to reject, even as a rarity. And, even if it's Yao, I would be hesitant to completely base my philosophical views of mankind on the actions of pro athletes.

Anyways, back to more relevant matters. What flavor of ice cream do you think Yao is eating?
