I thought that Dallas and Sacramento had showed us last year that you can successfully play fast, up and down ball in the playoffs. No, not ultimately successful in getting the ring (yet), but they can play that game and win in the playoffs. I think Sacramento has a definite shot at the ring this year. (Don't you love how wide-open the west feels this year? No clear cut favorite? It's going to be an awesome playoffs.) I don't see what should prevent Memphis from playing their style of ball in the playoffs. As MemphisX already said, the 10 man rotation hasn't been tried yet, so who's to say it can or can't work? Sure, there will be a problem when the opposing team can force their slower tempo on them, but how well has that worked this season? You have to love overacheivers who play hard. I'm happy for the Grizz, though I do have to agree with the rest that they're playing close to their ceiling. Remember the year that Doc Rivers took a team of complete scrubs to the playoffs? They nose dived the next year- and that was after getting Tmac and Hill! The Rockets are far from their ceiling and are a worthy playoff opponent right now. How can I be upset about playing below potential when we're only games away from the Dallas Mavericks? Man. Want to talk about playing below your potential, look at the talent on that team and the talent on the Grizz, and the Grizz have passed them up! Gotta love it. MemphisX- Steve is in your top five? For real?
