    The "law and order" candidate...

From the public record and published accounts like that one, it’s possible to assemble a clear picture of what we do know. The picture shows that Trump’s career has benefited from a decades-long and largely successful effort to limit and deflect law enforcement investigations into his dealings with top mobsters, organized crime associates, labor fixers, corrupt union leaders, con artists and even a one-time drug trafficker whom Trump retained as the head of his personal helicopter service.

More of the same. When will people start standing up to their own and holding them accountable? Instead they would rather make snarky remarks.

I do not understand why people feel the need to burn their own towns to the ground in protest over violent common criminals being gunned down by the police.

They don't own what they're burning down. They don't own much of anything. They are sincerely desperate and out of options. This is the bottom of the barrel. No one is really ****ed to go out and yell and burn things. Think about what it would take in your life for you to do that. That's what's happening to them.

If you put people in a position where they have nothing to lose and they are struggling to feed their families and themselves and the two massive political parties are deaf to their grievances... what do you expect will happen? Wouldn't it be odd if anything else happened? Isn't it more shocking that it has actually taken this long to get this heated again? Do you think that if this was some free market utopia that resulted in some people being this disenfranchised, those people would just take it?

Look, criminals are criminals. People who loot, damage property, engage in violence towards others... these are criminals according to the law at least, no one debates that.

However, this is not a bunch of criminals, this is a bunch of protestors and a few of them have gone off script. If they organize and form a centralized institution, then the institution will be vilified for the action of every single rogue member no matter how much good that organization fights for. The individual leader will be subject to irrelevant distractionary (dunno if thats a word) personal attacks. So the politics most Americans have been voting for and perpetuating since forever has destroyed that otherwise useful strategy of being neat and organized. The idea of a central leader has become repulsive to these people, because they have suffered from alleged representatives leading too much and applying the people's will too little. It's not because their parents suck as Bill O'Reilly would have you believe. The parenting sucks because the parents are also f'ed and barely have time to feed the kids much less take a walk in the park with them before dropping two sleeping pills and getting ready for a ****ty wage again.

What happens now is the disenfranchised people organize loosely into a leaderless multi-pronged organization. That leaderless multi pronged organization will then be joined by another such organization on the left, as well as environmentalists and some democratic socialists. This is very dissatisfying to the establishment and to people who have been living in ignorance of these people's real grievances because the traditional tactics of hacking down and burying dissenters doesn't work with this structure. The idea has evolved precisely to do what it is doing. The downside of this new strategy is sometimes things will get out of control.

You may find that unacceptable, but that's exactly the problem. You can't see that what all the poor communities in the United States are going through is NOT worse than some looting. It's WAY more innocent people dying than would die in a protest like this. And it's not the disenfranchised that have drawn the line in the sand saying it has to be this way or the high way. The only other option they've been given is to follow the status quo. To watch Bush or Obama rail on about victories achieved for the poor while they accelerate inequality and continue to be warriors for sending jobs abroad and automating unskilled work without a logical plan for what happens to the people who had those jobs.

What else do you expect? Did you think that awesome colorful milkshake store downtown would make everyone forget that they have to suffer the indignity of asking for food stamps despite trying their best not to have to?

Anyway, hope everyone is safe, and hope the damage is under control. I can't get angry about people feeling this way in the richest country in the world. I feel genuinely sad that communities are so segregated that this has to be a bipartisan issue. None of these people give a F about any of the two parties, and with good reason.

Trump doesn't need any plans, throwing out one-sided slogans and creating hate is the best way to attract stupid people like RocketsLegend. Same way the Brexit and every other radical party gaining a foothold works.

Luckily Milwaukee has an awesome sheriff who also just happens to be a big Trump supporter. Though I am surprised something like this would have happened under his watch... but hey, its Obama's fault.

Looking to Donald J. Trump for "law and order" is like going to Jared Fogle for child care services.

A country hiring Trump to improve law and order is like a university hiring Julian Assange to be its Title IX coordinator.

For those of you trying to demonize the left by saying these are "Hillary voters"

    1. Who the F cares
    2. I very much doubt they vote
    3. So lazy and sad to blame Obama/Hillary when the Republicans have elected the racist candidate

So your thesis is that they are black and therefore no one should care.

Sounds about right, by your standards.

What a hypocrite. The left has no problem at all demonizing Trump supporters, yet when the tables are turned, you get posts like this.

    So hypocritical

No, my thesis is that no one who care who they vote for. What's your problem with that?

The left has no problem demonizing Trump supporters, and you have no problem demonizing the entire left. What's funny is that you can't even see that the left isn't demonizing Republicans the way you demonize all Democrats.

Bigtexxxs only rebuttal to anything this election season is "but the left are hypocritical!"

Guess that's what happens when your candidate is a genuine demagogue. So sad.

Fact check for you: Hillary is the one who has said something directly racist.
