crappy thing about the early 2000's was all the 1 star teams which contributed to some ugly basketball.

The NBA was so great back then. After the 2003 draft, the NBA was never the same.

    Very nice video!!

back then, I was really excited watch the NBA games, I watched all the games that showed here.

Now, I only see rockets games, and only some parts of other games, or some highlights.

the early 2000's i became a hardcore fan.

when jordan won 6 rings and the rockets won back to back, i was too young to be a hardcore nba fan and there were no forums back then.

those kings teams were something special. nba on nbc. and 5 game series in first round made it even more exciting.

I know Francis wasn't the smartest player at times, but damn I miss watching him play. In general, the NBA in the early 2000's was the last time we had the league filled with players that had a lot of heart.

^^^ Wow those are some hideous shoes!

Who is that guy between Nash and Zombie? He looks like Evan Turner's father.

Not sure who you mean by Zombie, but that's Jermaine O'Neal to Nash's right and John Wallace to his left

Hey, I had a black pair of those Air Pennys that Shareef Abdur-Rahim is wearing in that photo. I always liked those shoes.

The stars at that time seemed to have a different attitude than the biggest stars today (except Kobe). They seemed to be about winning at all costs not about screwing around with your Team USA buddies.]

It's no wonder that the leaders of the championship teams continue to be guys from that era (Dirk, Kobe, KG, Pierce, Ray Allen, Duncan, Manu, etc.) and LeBron continues to be a loser. The only one of the new generation with a ring is D-Wade and he seems to embody the aforementioned guys alot more than he does his teammates.

It begs the question, who are guys from the new generation that embody those guys? Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose and Kevin Love for sure but who else?

That's a pretty good point. I got nostalgic watching that video. I would agree with most that this era of NBA basketball was a lot of fun, but it should be noted that this era was also one of unfulfilled expectations for a lot of players and teams.
