After reading these posts, I was about to charge in and tell people to not be so uptight, and that not everything is a racial issue. Then I watched the clip...... I have to agree that it was pretty stupid and unfunny, and slightly demeaning to black people.
I don't understand how it could be demeaning to black people if a black person is the one in the video. Its not like its a white dude making those comments trying to pass as "urban."
i think it's demeaning to black people that you associate this guy with all black people. i think the guy's a moron but i found the video to very funny.
I don't know, guys. I guess I can't really know for sure, but I think that if I was black, I would be offended by his actions. I'm usually pretty tolerant about this type of thing, too. I guess a big part of it was that I just didn't find it funny. If that guy went on stage at a comedy club, you would hear crickets chirp.
