Welcome to the bench Jordan your spot is down there next to Hartinstein's , hope you enjoy being a spectator and collecting your check
He's not thicc like PJ though, same amount of tats though looks like... If he can give PJ a legit 8/10 min a game blow that would be huge
Another scrub to sit on the bench with Hartenstein, now Harty has a friend there to comfort him when they both don't get minutes!
https://www.mercurynews.com/2019/07...-why-he-chose-to-join-minnesota-timberwolves/ The Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder and Utah Jazz also expressed interest in Bell. He added “there were a couple of others on the table, but they weren’t a good fit for me.” Bell thought, otherwise, about the Timberwolves because of a young roster that also features Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins. Bell knows Towns well since CAA both represent them, and they have often trained together in the offseason. Bell also reported feeling encouraged with how Minnesota coach Ryan Saunders outlined his role. “He was telling me the kind of player he thinks I can be. When a head coach tells you stuff like that, it makes you feel good to be wanted,” Bell said. “I think we can do something special over there, especially with the young coach that we have.” The Warriors may have grown frustrated with Bell’s uneven progress. They often praised him, however, for remaining intent to learn and thrive through his mistakes.
Not sure he can stick cuz he just signed a 1 year 1M deal. If he pans out he might just be rental due to LTS
I’ve always liked Bell. A bit undersized, but very athletic and can defend multiple positions. Fits our switching scheme very well.
He is a active athlete. We need a couple of those type players around the paint. He can put the ball on the floor and attack the basket and finish when given a lane. He can guard multiple positions. He plays with energy. I think he will be a welcome role player once her gets with James and Russ getting him open rim run looks. If he doesn't workout we let him walk in summer. It's worth a shot to see how he fits here.
Wish he had a three point shot. But I guess if he could shoot we wouldn’t have been able to get him. Certainly a good fit for us though.
Wonder if his roll efficiency will improve. 0.6 ppp in 18-19, 0.7 in 19-20. Clint was above average so that's a huge dip.
Hartenstein, meanwhile, averaging a cool 1.55 ppp on the roll, which makes our refusal to play him very puzzling.
Context. They've gone away because when Russ is on the floor, they don't have the shooters to create enough space to run an effective roll. Paul made the defensive respect his mid-range game, which opened up all kinds of passing lanes.
You just like to argue, don't you? I didn't disagree with your first position. But not every lineup has Russell Westbrook. Why not give Hartenstein some burn when he sits?
