They had a 06-07 mix of Francis on youtube earlier ... somehow it's not on there anymore. Sigh. But I saw it and it's not the same player. That can be taken good and bad. He doesn't dunk on ppl or cross ppl nearly as much, but he was shown hittin a lot of threes and stll doin his thing drivin the lane. And he even passed some. So this matured 30 yr old Francis still has plenty in the tank to help us out. Also ... I have NBA2k6 (never got the 2k7) and I kept Francis on the Rockets roster to start with battier tmac and yao ... haha. Now it's f'real. I still can't believe it!
Welcome back Stevie Franchise indeed! I'll always love the guy for the contributions he made during the Rockets rebuilding years. Steve's the man. I really hope he will be humble and fit into the system well. If he does, this team has the potential to be really special. I can't wait to see him make some big plays in the clutch.

It takes a humble man to come back like Steve just did. Seems like he's definitely all about winning now.
All the people who say they didn't want Francis but now that he's w/ the team they're excited? I certainly don't blame them. I think it's just proof that this news would make anyone w/ even the slightest bit of sentimentality (is that a word?) grin. It's like being reunited w/ your college buddies after a few years. (Coincidentally I'm having one this weekend)
I am just stunned really! But the same time I am really really thrilled. Because now we have more depth in my perception so we have go to guys with Francis, Bonzi, Yao, and T-MAC so if someone is having an off day watch out for the other guys. Seriously with all this firepower - we're gonna be a team to reckon with!
I don't know how its going to turn out, but man am I excited. This guy always had heart and this team needs that. I would think he's humble by now and if he is look out. I hated seeing him go despite his faults. If there is one place that will embrace him it is here. Welcome home Steve.
I am so excited Stevie Franchise is coming home. Let's go on and say that the "chickens are coming home to roost!" Hopefully it will make for a great Rockets team. Never a fan of Francis' game, but I don't mind having him at a low price. Hopefully RA's system can mask his weaknesses. He's good person to boot with.
