I was so bummed when we traded Steve away. Forget talent. This guy has heart. He played as hard as he could every night (give or take games on Superbowl sunday). The return of my all time favorite Rocket! Welcome Back Steve.
Up until JVG came into town, Steve was considered a top 20 player in the league. After that, his stats dropped and his deminior changed. You could tell he wasn't having as much fun out there. It only got worse when he bounced from team to team. I think being back home will bring back the joy we saw him play with his first few years in the league. Could we have 3 players averging over 20 points a game??
I didn't want the guy back. At least not if he's going to be the PG with Mike James getting the rest of the time. In another situation, I'd be ok with it. But now that he's here... I am certainly excited about the potential! And yes, his heart was sorely missed without question

IF Francis is more of a positive than a negative this year for the ROX AND helps them get to the second round then I will change my monikor in a sign of reconciliation. Maybe to "Francis Rules". In the meantime I go on record saying that he is past his prime with the leg injuries from last year and does not contribute but rather detracts from the team. Leopards don't change their spots.
