The funny thing about Rafer tonight, is I don't think there were many bad shots....by him. I think all but one were in the flow of the offense and good system shots..... He has been playing well lately...the entire team shot like crap.......but we won.....so..... Who cares? DD
This thread is hilarious for the simple reason it's so bad it's not even funny. As big a critic of Rafer's as I have been, even I'm not bold enough to make a thread like this. Did you really think anyone could continue to shoot as well as Rafer has shot the ball without one bad night? The entire Rocket team shot bad, but Rafer get's the collar? The Rockets won, and have won 20 straight but you sir find something negative? LOL people are too funny, I can't wait to see what happens when this streak finally ends. There will be fans on here saying the sky is falling and the Rockets are done, season over. The day the Rockets lose, somebody should count the wasted, ridiculous threads on here just for comical purposes.
Ya man rafer sucked it up tonight...we should trade him to Phoenix for Steve Nash who is also struggling and oh since chris paul sucked that one night against us...maybe NOK will trade with us or maybe since the spurs just lost the division lead the can swap parker with us.... Yes I know trade deadline has passed but my point is all PG and even players to that extent have bad nights....you should be ashamed.
all u people's bashing this guy just cuz he puts up a thread like this need to chill out...it's not like he was really getting on rafers case..he was just teasing around. really though, skip missing shots like crazy is funny for the moment. yes, for the moment. but chill out. people on boards argue to much for the sake of arguing----and i've had to succumb myself to b**** about it just so some people can get the picture.
Agreed. And this is coming from a guy who has still been wary of Rafer's play during this whole streak.
Thats what I was thinking. There werent a whole lot of bad shots taken tonight(by everyone), and the few that were seemed to be up against the shot clock. The majority of the shots that were missed were of the usual variety that the players have seen over the last 2 months. And a few extra tip in attempts by T-Mac. Hehe.
Good response- I have been a season ticket holder since '99 - this has been the most fun for us fans since that special team in Jan - 2005. Enjoy this good ride friend. I know I am proud of this team!
I've already talked about how the system fits Rafer to a T and how he has busted his tail to become a better shooter/finisher. BTW...He's worked hard on the shot but now he's getting them in the flow. I've hammered him relentlessly, but Rafer has turned into a true pro...more focus/commitment.
wow just have to appreciate the fact that rafer is playing well near the end of the season and not at the beginning. who would have envisioned his turn around after such a questionable first half of the season. i always thought rafer distrubuted well (Assists to TO ratio) i mean he always took care of the ball and the only real thing that was missing was his shooting. now that's here we can work on our FT's haha
To the thread starter, nothing is better than an in-your-face performance by Alston on the national TV today!
Yeah I mean wtf going 3-18 then 6-19 is no reason to be worried. He is shooting 32% in his last 3 games. Just check my first (unedited by the way) post. I said he is the best pg on the team.
