Really? Because Elliot played for them, and continued to play for years.....it was about the Rockets not being comfortable with his kidney situation....

shoulda waited till draft night. Said it all along. Either plummets Dmo's value to contract negotiations or he maybe able to contribute. Thanks Murray.

That's right they were uncomfortable with his health and had nothing to do with buyers remorse

Each year there are literally hundreds of thousands if not millions of legal cases per year n which medical doctors argue over the meaning of medical tests and exams..

Morey treats players like assets. Therefore, players play like assets, not as players who want to win. Zero effort on-court.

    But not in this case.

    Seems like there's a consensus

Harden eating too much has nothing to do with the asset building strategy.

Or are you saying it makes players hungry? If that's the case, why didn't any other Rockets get fat?

This might make sense if the prior years' teams played with zero effort. But they didn't, so.

Maybe prior teams had some more mature & professional players like Ariza/DMo. This team's leaders Howard & Harden are opposite of mature & professional. And then it trickles down from there. This is why Morey should pay more attention to acquiring guys who can improve the chemistry, not just guys who are perceived as high value assets.

I think it's more likely that the other players' effort mirrors the level of effort H&H put forth as a tandem -- that makes a lot more sense (to me) than guys suddenly deciding not to put forth any effort because Morey treats them like assets. Morey is who he has always been.

Yeah Morey for once did the normal GM standard bringing BACK the MAIN core of players for continuity, instead of destablizing the team through 'assessitization'. And the players effort and coaching actually REGRESSED.

It doesn't matter the managerial title and the name of person in it, that is a tough situation to deal with. But on the point, doesn't appear that assessitization is a much cause of anything.

.....Bobby Marks yesterday said it was possible. Either SVG is lying or is misinformed. Bobby has been a GM for 20 years so I'll trust him on this.
