I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy, but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality; personality goes a long way.
Actually, they wouldn't (or at least shouldn't) use human waste to fertilize plants because of the contamination danger. They stick with animal waste since most diseases don't cross species as easily.
So if if a pig eats crap, it then becomes crap it eats? It doesn't matter that all animals have crap inside of them, it's how its gets there that's of importance. I see... And it's ok to eat animals as long as they eat crap from other animals and not themselves? now that this has already moved to the D&D , lets discuss this point. you say it is a common custom among many cultures, and that even the hindus in india do it. It was not common in pagan arabia. they were not a very clean society. Just because it is common sense now doesnt mean it was 1400 years ago. also with the hindus using their left hand to clean themselves, did the hindus 1400 years ago do this, or is this just something that has happened since islamic rule in india? Many indian, and hindu traditions are taken from Islam, so one could easily argue that the left hand thing is a practice taken from its islamic rulers... Ofcourse there are many hindu traditions that many muslims integrate into their lifestyles as well. the casual observers were very amazed by his modest ways, and his kind speach, and hence many of them converted to islam. Islam as we all know spread very quickly and many of the earliest converts were converted by looking at the actions of their muslim counterparts and wondering what is it in them that makes them act like that.
yes many other animals are cannibalistic, and muslims dont eat those animals as well. we use plant food for plants as well, but i sure as hell wouldnt eat a chicken that was fed plant food. your analogy is flawed.
we have advanced technology now which allows us space travel high definition television and machines that cook pork. spices that flavor pork. and pork taste good. pork can save the world.
It's not an analogy. Crap is used for plant food, yet you are eating plant, not crap. So thinking you are eating crap when you are eating pig meat is just superstition, there is no medical or biological reasoning behind that. Now pig meat may be unsafe to eat because of roundworms that can live in the pig. So it is understandable that you would want to stay away from that. It is parasites that are the reasoning behind avoiding certain foods, not crap. So when I hear people call animals clean or dirty by nature it worries me because I see people start to think of the whole animal that way, not just the meat for medical reasons. All animals are equally worthy of our respect.
i never said that the animal doesnt deserve respect. all of gods creations are to be respected. however when i say that a pig is filthy, i saw so because i wouldnt eat its meat due to the filth that is in the meat. same reason i wouldnt eat a snake, dog, roach.
