Does not seem like that great of a deal. Package deals are rarely better than what you can find if you book separately and directly through the hotels.
in this case, it is. Unless he can get a roundtrip ticket from wherever he is for less than $200 per ticket (2 people) Cause the Wynn is currently going for 159/night over those 5 days IF he uses the best deal I've found out there
I got an offer at Wynn Encore that I can email you that is $109 or $159 depending on what nights and you get a $50 resort credit.
Not a bad deal. Wynn is nice, worth staying once if you want. I like bellagio better because of the location on the strip (right in middle), but hate gambling at bellagio. Wynn's location sucks, at the far end of the strip with nothing else besides encore next to it. Walking isnt that bad, but can get pretty damn hot in summer. its not worth getting a cab because you basically got 1 mile and takes 20 minutes, unless can get to the back roads. Since you are staying so long, maybe stay at wynn for 2 of the nights? I like gambling at mirage/caesers the best. Good luck!
the wynn and encore are really baller. There is a club called Excess in Encore, which is simply ridiculous.
^what he said... Also, that sounds like a great deal, but man, that is a long time and I couldn't do it...the scene gets old after 3 days for me...
Yeah, people have told me this. I guess I was thinking of it as "normal" vacation, which it certainly isn't. I'll cut it to leave Thursday morning, return Sunday night.
Hey clutchfan Kwame is in Vegas, you should call him up and he can show you around. I like the restaurants there. Do you play craps? there are good rollers at the Bellagio.
let's just say if you were on this table, you would really love this game. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,521607,00.html Craps Player Sets Record at Atlantic City Casino Sunday, May 24, 2009 * Print * ShareThis ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey — Saturday was a record-setting night for a novice craps player at an Atlantic City casino. Patricia Demauro set a new record for the longest craps roll, hanging on for four hours and 18 minutes at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. Borgata officials say she beat the previous record by one hour and 12 minutes. They say Stanley Fujitake of Honolulu, set that record nearly 20 years ago in Las Vegas. "This was only my second time playing craps, so this was very exciting for me to be a part of history," says Demauro, who lives in Denville in northern New Jersey. Demauro bought into a game for $100 and quickly amassed a cheering crowd. When she finally lost around 12:31 a.m., after 154 rolls of the dice, she was greeted by Borgata with a champagne toast. The casino wouldn't say how much Demauro won.
Not so sure about the good rollers at Bellagio... I remember I was in Vegas in the beginning of March, and I was at the craps table at Bellagio with some buddies. Our side of the table was getting pretty rowdy and cheering everytime we won. Well eventually the dice got passed to the other side of the table, and this one guy cocked his arm back and tossed the dice like a fastball and hit the guy to the left of us square in the forehead. He had a deep gash that kept bleeding until one of the pit bosses got him a bandaid. They other guy was so embarrassed and sorry that he kept betting chips on the table for the guy he hit. It was pretty nice of him considering what he did. That was one of the craziest things I have ever seen at the casino haha.
haha well, i'm not saying all the rollers are good, but there number of decent rollers (people who know how to throw correctly) are higher at bellagio. i stayed there for march madness, maybe it was just the weekend crowd.
don't do that on my account or for anyone else..if you've never been, you'll have fun staying that long as you can hike, do the tourist thing...hang out by the pools...
well, you do notice some people who set the dice and throw it consistently well. i saw more of those people at bellagio. <script src="http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/.element/js/2.0/video/evp/module.js?loc=dom&vid=/video/offbeat/2009/05/25/moos.oh.craps.cnn" type="text/javascript"></script><noscript>Embedded video from <a href="http://www.cnn.com/video">CNN Video</a></noscript>
Of course there is a technique...there are ways to roll 6's and 8's more often...there are ways to throw hards...its obviously not full proof, but even being able to roll an 8 one extra time out of 10 rolls is incredibly beneficial. There are many courses on this. Ive won maybe 15,000 over the past year in craps. Also, for those that have not been to club XS at encore...do yourselves a favor and go...it will be the best club youve been to in your life...with the hottest girls.
