    Box scores (last week):
    @ NJ: http://www.nba.com/games/20081222/HOUNJN/boxscore.html
    @ CLE: http://www.nba.com/games/20081223/HOUCLE/boxscore.html
    @ NOH: http://www.nba.com/games/20081226/HOUNOH/boxscore.html
    VS UTAH: http://www.nba.com/games/20081227/UTAHOU/boxscore.html

    My Picks:
    3. Brent Barry:
After shooting horribly all year, this week, he came back from injury and shot three very well. He opened the floor for everyone.

    2. Yao Ming:
Looking at the stats, I may have say Yao for the player of the week. He was good, but not the best. During the clutch, in our last three games, I was a little disappointed with him.

    1. Ron Artest:
He gave everything this week. He was a WARRIOR! Against the Cavs, he stayed with Lebron and didnt gave up one time. He played the whole game with all his heart. He missed the NOH game due to his ankle, but he came back as a warrior against the Jazz. He only played that game because T-Mac wasnt playing and he was the best in the game.

    Now, VOTE!!!

As much as i want to give it to Ron fredv is right, brooks was the most consistent all week he played pg so well we forgot we had our starter hurt (sorry rafer i know u read cf.net) Aaron gets it this week from me but Ron deserves something maybe some of that cheesecake Bill and Bull are always taking about during the broadcast

Artest's performance last night was inspirational but I gotta go with Yao. He was more consistent (3 double doubles) and played every game.

It's hard not to vote for Artest though.

PFFFF! NO LOVE FOR BROOKS! He has been so consistent, last week, he was shadowed by a Tmac Triple Double. This week he is shadowed by Artests Utah performance.
Yes they where great performances, but Brooks deserves something for stepping up so much!

Guys you've been talking about making him our Starting PG, making thousands of threads, yet, when its time to give him the real credit he deserves, you just base your answers on one game!

Three of his 4 solid games came in the last calendar week when McGrady won the poll. He only had 1 strong game this week once he went back to his reserve role.

I think this week has to go to Yao or Artest.

Yao played every game, had 3 triple doubles, including a 24 and 16 against the Nets.

Artest missed a game and only had 1 strong performance out of the 4 games. It was an amazing performance though considering he put the team on his back with a bad ankle and led us to a win.

It has to be Yao or Artest this week. I chose Yao because of his consistency but Artest was a very close second.

No doubt my vote goes to Mr.Artest!

He shows his heart and effort on the court to fight hard through his swollen ankle. What a TRU WARIER!He should definitely be awarded his first player of the WEEK! :D

I don't mind people voting for Artest. He came up huge last game.

As long as they're aware of the fact that Yao had 3 strong games and 1 pretty good game while Artest only had 1 strong game out of the 4 and also missed a game.
