My definition for "player of the wee" is the one who helps carry the team the most or lead a win in the past week. Given Yao's the biggest contribution on both ends on the floor, and the remarkable effeciency, my vote will go to "the great wall".

VOTE FOR T-MAC! Ouch, I forgot he is not on the list...

I think you are a stupid Yao fan if you think he was the Rockets' best player this week.

Did I wrote Yao sucked? No I didn't.

I was just saying there were other Rockets who actually played BETTER than Yao. You know what better means?

You sound like an idiot. Every poster who says anything against Yao, in your opinion is T-Mac lover.

    No love for Chuck Hayes?

He stopped Aldridge last night and scored 9 points along with 10 boards when Landry is out.

The game against Blazers was big, I don't think a lot of you understand that.

Look, voting for Battier is one thing. Saying he actually played better than Yao is another thing.
Battier is the "most improved player", but he did not play better than Yao did.

Stupid T-Slack lover, who posted the stupid Perkins distroying Yao thread before the Celtics game on road? As a stupid T-slack fan, you always like to bash Yao. You're a stupid Yao hater, plain and simple.

then who? Yao may have been consistently boring this week, but it was boring, efficient and productive. Neither Shane, Scola, Artest or anyone else put together 3 even above average games. Scola sucked at Phoenix, Shane was mediocre against the Blazers, Ron was inefficient last night, too and has been a little too selfish lately, you can't play worse than Brooks did against the Lakers.

Von is really the only other guy you could consider. His Lakers game was bad, though, but even with that he shot 63% (15-24), including the awesome dunk last night.

Maybe we should exclude Yao from this kind of vote, put him and ron gether, who is better among Big 2, and then player of the week for the rest of role players.

<rant> Some people act like Yao wins every week. I can't see anyone from our team played better than Yao last week. If his production was lower than anyone then you can call injustice. I think the poll is historically very consister with the production of our players. And please stop calling people who criticize Yao a "T-Mac only fan." Calling people who have different opinions from yours "stupid" is stupid. </rant>

And that's pretty great. Yao is the face of China here in the NBA and he represents the country. People love him and that's great.

    Von for example?

That tells us A LOT about yourself. Blah blah blah... I like your arguments :)
