I'd love to see some analysis on what Crenell did to get that production out of Reed today.

Romeo didn't do jack. JJ Watt was wrecking shop and Reed was never blocked.

Not being able to sustain drives is smart?

Fitzpatrick wasn't awful, that's just stupid.

He wasn't anything special but he game managed a victory which is more then we could say about Schaub last year.

    Observations:

    1. Ugly at times, but I will take a win any way it comes.

    2. J.J. Watt may not be human

    3. In the long tradition of Houston athletes, Clowney is made of glass.

    4. Our offensive line has to improve, not a sterling performance.

    5. Fitzpatrick is Fitzpatrick, not good, not terrible, not sure what he is, but he was enough.

    6. Swearinger's hit was legit, bad call.

    7. RGII doesn't look right, apparently not a happy camper.

    8. So good to see special teams who seem to know what they are doing.

    9. Did I mention JJ? I don't think I have seen a defensive player influence the game like that since Lawrence Taylor.

Shut the hell up dude. You're annoying. He didn't turn the ball over, that drive at the end ate up the clock from 8 minutes to 2. He did what he needed to do.

two of those drives, were halted by the o line not being able to get enough push for the 1 yard. it's crucial with this hard nose style that we convert those. another drive, deandre dropped it, on what should have been a first down.
finally, the other drive that was not sustained because arian lost the ball.Foster has always held the ball that when running.
anyways, fitz made smart throws and converted when he had too. I wasn't the biggest fan of the signing but if he keeps playing the way he did today. we're back on top.

Pretty sure that reed wasn't just asked to 'contain the edge.'

I really don't get people like you that do nothing but come in and crap on this thread, not only throughout the game, but even after a win. Are you even a fan of the Texans? It seems like a really miserable way to be a fan. You'd probably be much happier if you just stopped following them all together.

Fitzpatrick only fan? That type of production from the qb will not win you games against good teams.

Ate up the clock you say? He handed the ball off the entire game.

Make no mistake about it, we won inspite of Fitzpatricks poor play

Defense looked pretty good against a tough receiving core. A few breakdowns but that's to be expected.

I think the offense will only improve.

    Hopefully Clowney is okay.

Game Ball to JJ WATT. Amazing line!!!!

However, honorable mention goes to Brooks Reed. Dude was practically unstoppable, applying pressure on the QB all game and getting a sack. Great to see!

Butt hurt Keenum fan still upset his favorite qb got canned? Not surprised.

What a great game by JJ, really the entire defense. Nice to see Reed have such a big impact.
