He's Al Michaels so he deservedly gets a ton of slack, like Keith Jackson, Billy Packer, Vin Scully etc....I just thought that was funny
Kubiak is going to win this game with Siemian and all the pressure will be on Brock.. Media is going to eat this up! "Elway is a genius!" Siemian is playing pretty well even with the TO's. There's tape on Siemian now, next week won't be as smooth.
I think the talk will be more about Cam and the Panthers choking if they lose this game....especially if the Panthers defense doesn't score in the 2nd half.
Say what you want about Kubiak as a HC, and I have, but you can't deny that he can coach QBs and an offense.
I think he's been solid against zone coverage. He's made a couple good reads. Dude really underthrows the ball though. Doesn't have great placement. It's just impressive considering how bad he looked in preseason.
Until that last drive, Cam had a 0 QB rating in the second half....even now he's only got 165 passing yards despite throwing it more than the rookie. Cam was good in the first half, garbage in the 2nd half.
So... You weren't concerned when you were watching them win a SB... But you are pissed off now? Kubiak has always been a great play-caller, QB coach, and well-liked by his teams. If you have talent at the o-line and RB positions, Kubiak can have success with anybody who can throw a semblance of a ball. That being said, the Texans have a good thing going with BOB. It is possible that some coaches just need a change of scene to get their stuff to work out.
Exactly, he's been tolerable and put his team in a chance to win. Not sure what more you could ask out of that guy in this situation against this opponent. Rasaq, Crick did have 1 play early in the game and I haven't seen nor heard from him since. Much like last year.
