Fitz is just doing everything out here. Bailing out Palmer's off-target throws with just incredible catches. What a player.

 

Dre has more yards and higher career
Ypc. Dre has 3 years with 1500+ receiving yards, Fitz has none.

Fitz with more TDs.

Good comparison for sure. Definitely more too look into- first downs, yac, etc

You can see Dre put up his best years when he has a healthy schaub from 2007-2010. More TDs and ypc.

Not sure how he managed 1598 yards in 2012. That was nuts

 

Brutal, brutal holding penalty. Knocked them out of fg range

 

Terrible clock management by the hoodie, they let a TON of time tick off the clock.

Man I really hope fitz doesn't retire after this season

 

I say Dre's 2009 is better than any Fitz year.

1,569 yards on 15.5 ypc and 9 TDs. 101 catches. Beast.

Today? Absolutely. Dre's peak was better than Fitz's peak, but Fitz is still good and Dre sucks now.

 

Both DEN and NE lucked out this week.

Hurts the Texans because both winners are same conference.

We'll just beat NE's ass to balance part of the difference.

 

Hard to says Pats lucked out when so much has gone wrong for them recently but damn it seems these types of moments seem to go their way more often than not.

 

Well when you win due to a missed 47 yard FG, it's kind of hard to say they didn't luck out.

 

Eh, if you limit it to regular season then you might be right but Fitz's 2008 season was still pretty good. 1431 yds, 14.9 ypc, 12 tds, 96 rec. Then if you include his postseason run, it's not really close. I think I'd take Peak Fitz, Prime Dre (longer span, let's say over 5 consecutive seasons), and Career Fitz.

Yeah I didn't think of playoffs since Dre was on an expansion franchise and thus on many garbage teams

 

I dunno if I'd call the Pats lucky. They were without their two best players, and managed to overachieve.

Funny how the teams in the NFC championship game a year ago (CAR and ARZ), both lost in week 1.

 

How about Jameis Winston?

 

Yea they really lucked out with Brady getting suspended, Ninkovich getting busted for PEDs, and Gronk getting hurt.

 

As someone who loves Brady and despises Belichick, I must admit this is probably true.
